Remote Control

Insert 2 AAA batteries (not supplied) into the remote control compartment, observing correct polarity. Exhausted batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste at designated collection points.

WARNINGS:

  • To prevent corrosive liquid leakage, remove batteries if the device will not be used for a long time.
  • Do not use different types of batteries (e.g., new and used) simultaneously.

First Installation

Connect the antenna cable (terrestrial and/or satellite) and the Ethernet cable (if available).

After powering on the TV, follow the on-screen wizard for the first installation. Use the arrow keys and OK button to select and confirm:

  1. Step 1: Select Menu Language.
  2. Step 2: Connect to the Network (wired or wireless).
    • Cable: Network connection is established automatically.
    • Wireless: Select your WiFi network and enter the password (press OK to bring up the virtual keyboard). The TV supports WPS protocol (select the WPS button to start the procedure).
  3. Step 3: Select Country of Use.
  4. Step 4, 5: Terms of Service and Conditions (these steps can be skipped, but some services may not be available).
  5. Step 6: Select Usage Mode. Once TV is chosen as the primary source, the device will prompt for channel scanning.
  6. Step 7: Set and Confirm PIN (remember this PIN).

ATTENTION! The system does not accept "0000" as a password.

Step 8: The TV will propose scanning for terrestrial and/or satellite channels. Refer to section 1.1 for detailed settings.

Main Functions

1.1 Channel Scanning

To access Channel Search: Menu > Settings > Channel > Auto Scan (enter PIN).

  1. Select the reception mode (Satellite, Antenna (DVB-T), Cable). Multiple selections are possible.
  2. Satellite:
    • Select the operator (if available in your country).
    • Select the satellite antenna system (Single LNB, DiSEqC, Unicable).
    • Select the satellite (default for TIVUSAT: Hotbird 13°E).
  3. Terrestrial:
    • Select the channel ordering (digital terrestrial = LCN).
    • Scanning mode: DTV.
  4. Start scanning.

NOTE: Using LCN (terrestrial) or TivùSat (satellite) functions will create a channel list with a predefined order. Viewing encrypted channels requires a dedicated Conditional Access Module (CAM) and an active smart card, sold separately.

1.2 Channel List

After scanning, a channel list is created. Use the CH.LIST button to view and manage the list (e.g., create favorites, add to HOMEPAGE, filter, move, or delete channels).

If both terrestrial and satellite channels are saved, you can switch between modes using the channel list menu (LEFT arrow key to access options, hold OK to select mode, RIGHT arrow key to return to list).

The channel list menu is also accessible from the main menu.

1.3 Antenna System Configuration (Satellite)

Default settings configure a fixed antenna system with a single LNB, receiving signal from the Hotbird 13°E satellite. For different antenna systems, modify parameters in the Channels/Scan/LNB menu.

NOTES AND WARNINGS: The TV is compatible with universal single converters, multi-satellite DiSEqC (1.0 - 1.2), and multi-user SCR/dCSS/Unicable systems. Incorrect antenna configuration may prevent channels from loading. Professional installation is recommended. Signal level and quality indicators refer to the selected satellite transponder. Do not connect the TV to the satellite signal via the LNB Out/Loop Through connector of an external satellite receiver, as both devices cannot operate simultaneously. For SCR LNB systems, each connected TV/receiver must use a different SCR channel. For multiple receivers on an SCR system, use a dedicated external signal splitter, not the loop-through connection of an external receiver.

Smart (Home) Mode

The Home menu, accessible via the HOME button on the remote, provides access to:

  • Application management and use.
  • Navigation browser.
  • Selection of input sources/modes.
  • Access to system settings.

WARNINGS: To use SMART TV features, connect the TV to the internet.

Factory Reset

Resets all settings to their initial condition. Accessible via Menu > Settings > Support > Reset settings > enter PIN.

You can choose to keep the channel list with modifications and favorite lists by checking the option before resetting.

WARNING: Resetting factory settings erases all user customizations, including stored channels, downloaded apps, and modified settings. After confirming, the TV will restart, displaying the first installation wizard.

E-Manual

The extended manual with full descriptions of functions/menus/options is available via Menu > Settings > Support > E-Manual. A digital version is accessible via QR code (top-right corner of the screen) for viewing or downloading on a mobile device.
