Controller Overview

The Wuzcon Game Controller features a symmetrical design with two analog sticks (LS and RS), a directional pad (D-pad), four face buttons (A, B, X, Y), four shoulder buttons (LT, LB, RT, RB), a Select button, a Start button, and a central Home button. LED indicators are present to show connection status. A Micro USB port is located for charging and wired connections.

Using the Cell Phone Clip

After successfully connecting your phone to the controller via Bluetooth, use the provided clip to attach your phone to the controller for a combined gaming experience.

Clip Attachment Steps:

  1. Expand the phone clip.
  2. Snap the controller onto the clip from the top first.
  3. Push the clip in from the bottom to secure it.
  4. Open the expansion port and clip the phone into place.

2.4G Wireless Receiver Usage

The 2.4G wireless receiver provides a connection method for devices without Bluetooth.

For Android TV (Replaces Remote Control)

Connect the USB 2.4G wireless receiver to the Android TV's USB port. The controller can then be used as a remote control.

For Android TV Box / Game Box

Connect the USB 2.4G wireless receiver to the TV Box's USB port for controller functionality.

For PC / Laptop / Surface

Plug the USB 2.4G wireless receiver into a USB port on your PC, laptop, or Surface device.

For Tesla Model

Requires a USB C to A converter to connect the USB 2.4G wireless receiver to the Tesla's USB C port.

Connection Instructions

Bluetooth Xbox Connection Mode (X-input)

Activation: Press and hold RB, then press Home (for >1 second), OR press and hold RB and Home simultaneously (for >1 second).

Bluetooth Name: Xbox Wireless Controller

Successful Connection: LED1, LED2, LED3 are constantly lit.

Recommendation: This mode offers broad compatibility with games and devices, including PC, Phone, Tablet, and TV Box. It supports popular titles like COD Mobile, APEX Mobile, Dolphin Emulator, GeForce Now, and xCloud Gaming.

Additional Modes:

  • [B + Home]: Enables DualShock mode if supported by the game.
  • [X + Home]: Enables D-input mode, which supports fewer games.

Bluetooth V3 Direct Connection Mode

Activation: Press and hold A, then press Home (for >1 second), OR press and hold A and Home simultaneously (for >1 second).

Bluetooth Name: GamePadPlus V3

Successful Connection: LED1 is constantly lit.

Usage: Suitable for advanced users. Requires a third-party app (e.g., 'ShootingPlus V3') for button mapping to simulate touch screen controls for games that do not natively support controllers. Detailed video guides are available on YouTube.

Apple Device Instructions (for Apple Arcade and MFi games)

Use the Bluetooth Xbox connection mode (X-input). Follow the same activation steps as 'Bluetooth Xbox Connection Mode'.

Recommendation: Best for Apple Arcade and MFi games.

Supported Devices: iPhone, iPad, Mac, MacBook, Apple TV.

Additional Modes:

  • [B + Home]: Enables DualShock mode.
  • [Y + Home]: Enables V3 mode, but only for iOS 13.1 and earlier; not recommended.

Switch Connection Instructions

Activation: Press and hold RT, then press Home (for >1 second), OR press and hold RT and Home simultaneously (for >1 second).

On the Switch: Select 'Chang Grip/Order' from the menu (auto connection).

Successful Connection: LED2, LED3 are constantly lit.

Note: The factory key layout may not be Y/X/B/A.

Wired Connection for PS3, PS4, PS5

For PS3 Wired:

Plug the controller directly into the PS3 using the USB cable for automatic recognition.

Successful Connection: LED1 is constantly lit.

For PS3 Wireless:

After a successful wired connection, unplug the USB cable. The controller can then be used wirelessly.

Successful Connection: LED1 is constantly lit.

For PS4, PS5 Wired:

Connect the controller to the PS4/PS5 via USB cable. Press and hold the Home button for 2 seconds to identify. Enter controller wired mode.

Successful Connection: LED1 is constantly lit.

For PS4, PS5 Wireless:

After a successful wired connection, unplug the USB cable. The controller can then be used wirelessly.

Successful Connection: LED1 is constantly lit. (Note: This connection method is for PS4 games only; it is not supported for PS5 games.)

2.4G Wireless Connection Method on PC / Smart TV / TV Box / Tesla

Activation: Insert the 2.4G USB Dongle into the host USB port. Press and hold LB, then press Home (for >1 second), OR press and hold LB and Home simultaneously (for >1 second).

During Connection: LED1, LED2 flash quickly (auto connection).

Successful Connection: LED1, LED2 are constantly lit.

Default Mode: Xbox controller mode (X-input).

Notes:

  • This method is useful if your Android TV/TV box lacks Bluetooth.
  • Windows 7/8/10/11 do not require additional driver installation.
  • Tesla users may need a USB C to A adapter as Tesla vehicles typically have USB C ports.
  • Only one controller can connect to a single USB receiver.
  • To switch to D-input mode on Windows: Long press 'SELECT' + 'START' for 5 seconds.

Wired Mode for Windows 7/8/10/11 and Tesla

Activation: Connect the controller via USB cable. Press and hold the R1 key.

Connecting to a PC.

Successful Connection: LED1 is constantly lit.

Default Mode: Xbox controller mode (X-input).

Mode Switching:

  • To change to D-input mode on Windows: Press and hold 'Home' for 5 seconds. LED2 will remain lit.
  • For Tesla wired connection issues: Press and hold the 'Home' button for more than five seconds; LED1 will change to LED2.

Charging and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Charging Information:

LED4 blinks slowly while charging. When fully charged, LED4 is constantly lit.

A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours if the battery is completely depleted (charging time may vary based on power source).

Controller with Connection Memory Function:

The controller remembers the last connection mode used. To reconnect, simply press the 'Home' button.

Automatic Shutdown:

The controller automatically hibernates after five minutes of inactivity. Press 'Home' to re-enable.

Switching Devices:

When switching from device A to device B and back to A, cancel or delete the original Bluetooth connection name on device A and reconnect.

Connection Issues:

If the controller does not connect, indicators include slow flashing LEDs, continuous vibration, and then the controller turning off. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on the device, or plug in the USB receiver, turn off the controller, select the mode, and restart.

If the last connected device is unavailable, select the desired mode to connect to a new device.

Game Compatibility:

For Android Games:

Recommendation: Xbox controller Bluetooth mode for games supporting controllers (including cloud platforms).

Dual Shock Bluetooth mode is also supported by some games; check game instructions.

Android V3 mode is for games without controller support. Requires a mapping app to simulate touch controls.

For Apple iPhone & iPad Games:

Xbox Bluetooth mode is for Apple Arcade and MFi games.

Dual Shock Bluetooth mode is supported by some games; check game instructions.

Apple devices do not support V3 direct connection mode effectively.

Connectivity Notes:

Bluetooth range is up to 26 feet (8 meters). Avoid large obstacles that can block the signal.

Insufficient PC front USB power supply can affect 2.4G wireless transmission distance. Keep the receiver close to the interface.
