Masterbuilt typically warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from the original retail purchase date (2 years for European residents). Paint finish and rust are generally not covered.
The controller display temperature may read approximately 100°F (38°C) hotter than the actual griddle surface temperature due to sensor placement and airflow.
The model number is usually located on a silver or white sticker on the back or side of the unit, or sometimes inside the door or on the leg of the grill.
Clean grates and grease trays regularly. For griddles, scrape residue while warm and season lightly. Never soak electric components in water.
