What is the USB/Direct knob for on my AIR interface?
The USB/Direct knob allows you to balance the audio signal between your direct inputs (zero-latency monitoring) and the playback from your computer. Turning it towards 'Direct' lets you hear your instrument directly, while 'USB' lets you hear your DAW output.

Do I need Phantom Power (+48V)?
Phantom Power is required for most condenser microphones but is not needed for dynamic or ribbon microphones. Check your microphone's documentation before engaging the +48V switch to avoid damage.
