Stabilizers
It’s important to install the stabilizers first.
All keyboard kits come with a set of pre-lubricated stabilizers as standard since 2023 to avoid carrying liquid lubrication. Additional lubrication is always a nice touch but not required.
Steps for stabi assembly
- align the wire towards the notch.
- push the wire underneath the plate.
- push the back end down.
- make sure the snaps are engaged.
Remove the padding blocks from the Poron foam, and then assemble the both cores by aligning the plate, foam, and PCB.
Switches
Ensure the wires are straight down each time you push in the switch.
(Recommended) Plug in the cables after installing all switches, then test the functionality.
*The wires on the switch can sometimes get bent during transportation, which can be straightened by hand.
Feet
The remaining internal tension after the assembly may cause the case to bow, But it can be corrected by gently twisting it in the opposite direction.
Put the rubber feet on and check the sit.
Keycaps
- Open a browser. http://get.vial.today
- VIAL can run on the website or be installed on your PC.
- Adam X will be recognized as Core90 (or Lilith81 for ISO version). The key map will be loaded when you click “connect”.
- The latest firmware version supports various connection modes for multiple modules without requiring firmware swap.
- Matrix tester in VIAL is not available. Please test the key function on e.g. https://www.keyboardtester.com/ The key values and RGB lights can be configured.
- Press Fn to access the layer (1)

- Q: Can additional lubrication be added to the stabilizers?
A: Additional lubrication is not required as all kits come with prelubricated stabilizers since 2023. However, it can be added as a personal preference. - Q: How do I correct bowing of the case after assembly?
A: The case may bow due to internal tension. Gently twist it in the opposite direction to correct it. - Q: How can I configure key functions and RGB lights?
A: Use VIAL on http://get.vial.today for key function configuration. RGB lights can also be configured through the software.
