Care & Maintenance

Maximizing Riding Range

  • Weight: More weight means less distance.
  • Temperature: Ride the Bolt above 10°C / 50°F.
  • Maintenance: Charging the battery after every ride will increase riding distance.
  • Speed and Riding Style: Frequent starting and stopping will reduce riding distance.

Cleaning The Bolt
To clean the Bolt, carefully wipe with a damp cloth, then dry with a dry cloth. Do not apply water directly onto the Bolt, as the electrical systems and electronics may get wet, which could result in a malfunction that leads to personal injury.
