Tap “Voice Assistant” in the JBL Connect app, to make the “ ” button as the activation key of Siri or Google Now on your phone.

6. JBL Connect+

Wirelessly links more than 100 pcs JBL Connect+ compatible speakers together.

Play music on one of your JBL speakers and then press the JBL Connect+ button on all desired speakers to start pairing. All the other JBL speakers will play same music from the music source.

8. Warning

JBL Xtreme 2 is IPX7 waterproof.

IMPORTANT: To ensure that the JBL Xtreme 2 is waterproof, please remove all cable connections and tightly close the cap; exposing the JBL Xtreme 2 to liquids without doing so may result in permanent damage to the speaker. And do not expose JBL Xtreme 2 to water while charging, as doing so may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source.

IPX7 waterproof is defined as the speaker can be immersed in water up to 1m for up to 30 minutes.

If the speaker will not be used for a long period of time, please recharge the battery at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.

    1. Try to reset the unit with unit just on , hold the volume up button and play button together until unit shuts off wait a bit then turn unit on . This puts it back to factory settings .

  1. My unit is completely dead. I tried to charge it for 3 hours, it still will not come on and nothing lights up.

  3. Immediately after turning on the power, I pressed and held the Connect Plastic button and there was no sound. When I try to update, I get a message asking me to turn off Connect Plus, but the lamp is off. If you press the play button and the plus button at the same time, the connect plus button will light up for a moment. The power will not turn off. I can’t update or turn off the power. It seems that it cannot be restarted until the battery runs out.

  5. Just received my 2 Extreme 2’s
    One of them has a ‘flashing blue light’ that turns constant white after a while.
    The other one flashes blue and then remains contant blue.
    Why the difference???

    1. Hi.
      White ON = Unit is ON
      Flashing White= Unit is in STAND BY
      Flashing Blue = Units is in PAIRING MODE
      Blue ON = Unit connected via Bluetooth

    Wenn die Musik läuft, ist immer im Hintergrund ein Störgeräusch zu hören.
