Chapter 1 - Part List
This section lists the components included with the CR-1000EVO Series CPU Cooler.
- A CPU Heatsink: The main cooling component with a fan.
- B Backplate - Intel: Used for securing the cooler to Intel motherboards.
- C Spacer - Intel: Spacers for the Intel backplate installation.
- D Mounting Bracket: Brackets used to attach the cooler to the motherboard.
- E Screw - Intel: Screws for the Intel installation.
- F Thermal Paste: Compound applied between the CPU and heatsink for better heat transfer.
- G Spacer - AMD: Spacers for the AMD installation.
- H Screw - AMD: Screws for the AMD installation.
Chapter 2 - Intel Installation
Follow these steps to install the CR-1000EVO Series cooler on an Intel motherboard.
Step 1
Install the backplate (B) to the motherboard and fix it with spacers (C). Ensure compatibility with LGA115X or LGA17XX sockets.
Step 2
Install the mounting brackets (D) and secure them with screws (E).
Step 3
Apply the thermal paste (F) evenly on the CPU surface. Remove the protective film from the copper base of the heatsink.
Step 4
Place the cooler onto the CPU, aligning the screws with the backplate mounting points. Secure the cooler using a screwdriver.
Step 5
Connect the CPU FAN cable to the motherboard's CPU fan header. Connect the ARGB LED cable if applicable.
Chapter 3 - AMD Installation
Follow these steps to install the CR-1000EVO Series cooler on an AMD motherboard.
Step 1
Remove the plastic retainer from the AMD retention module. Place the existing backplate back onto the motherboard.
Step 2
Install the AMD spacer columns (G).
Step 3
Install the mounting brackets (D) and secure them with screws (H).
Step 4
Apply the thermal paste (F) evenly on the CPU surface. Remove the protective film from the copper base of the heatsink.
Step 5
Place the cooler onto the CPU, aligning the screws with the backplate mounting points. Secure the cooler using a screwdriver.
Step 6
Connect the CPU FAN cable to the motherboard's CPU fan header. Connect the ARGB LED cable if applicable.
