Setup Guide

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the T2Plus unit. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the unit and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

2. Installing the Intercom on Your Helmet

The T2Plus uses a magnetic base for easy installation.

  1. Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet for the magnetic base. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
  2. Attach the magnetic base to the helmet using the provided 3M adhesive pad or the metal clip. For adhesive, press firmly for 30 seconds and allow 24 hours for maximum adhesion.
  3. Align the T2Plus main unit with the magnetic base until it securely snaps into place.

3. Installing Speakers and Microphone

  1. Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Use the round Velcro pads and speaker sponge pads for a comfortable and secure fit. Ensure the speakers are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound.
  2. Choose between the hard mic (for open-face helmets) or soft mic (for full-face helmets).
  3. Attach the chosen microphone inside the helmet, positioning it close to your mouth but not directly in front of it to avoid wind noise. Use the rigid mic fixed Velcro for secure placement.
  4. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the corresponding ports on the T2Plus main unit.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.

2. Bluetooth Pairing (for Phone/GPS)

  1. With the T2Plus powered off, press and hold the Power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your phone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for "TNICER T2Plus".
  3. Select "TNICER T2Plus" to connect. Once connected, the LED will flash blue slowly.

3. Intercom Communication (Bluetooth Mode)

The T2Plus supports up to 8 riders in Bluetooth intercom mode.

  1. Ensure all T2Plus units are powered on and within range.
  2. On one unit, press the Intercom button once to initiate pairing with another unit. Repeat for additional units.
  3. Once paired, press the Intercom button to start or end an intercom conversation.

4. Mesh Communication (Mesh 3.0 Mode)

The T2Plus supports up to 10 riders in Mesh communication mode.

  1. To enter Mesh mode, press and hold the Mesh button for 3 seconds. The LED will indicate Mesh mode.
  2. For one-click automatic connection, simply press the Mesh button once on all T2Plus units you wish to connect. They will automatically form a Mesh network.
  3. Communication will be automatic and continuous within the Mesh network.

5. Music Playback and FM Radio

  • Music Playback: Once connected to your phone via Bluetooth, open your music app. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to adjust volume. Use the Multi-function button (if available) for play/pause/skip.
  • Music Sharing: While playing music, press the Music Share button (if available) to share your audio with a paired T2Plus unit.
  • FM Radio: Press the FM button to turn on/off the FM radio. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to scan for stations.

6. Environmental Sound Reception

To enhance awareness of your surroundings, you can enable environmental sound reception. This feature allows you to hear ambient sounds more clearly, similar to having noise cancellation off, which can be beneficial in urban environments.

  • Refer to the specific button combination in your quick start guide for enabling/disabling environmental sound reception.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
  • Water Resistance: While IP67 rated, avoid submerging the device in water for prolonged periods or exposing it to high-pressure water jets. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed.
