設定

1.配置

The EDEN FET 300 can be strategically placed next to, behind, or below your aquarium. Ensure there is sufficient space for maintenance and hose connections. Stable rubber feet prevent vibrations and ensure a secure stand.

2. ホースの接続

Connect the intake and discharge hoses to the adapter unit on the filter head. The adapter unit features an automatic stop system and integrated flow control, which is crucial for preventing water leakage during cleaning or disconnection. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

3. Preparing Filter Media

The filtration chambers come equipped with various filter media. Ensure they are correctly placed according to the filter's design for multi-stage mechanical and biological filtration. Ceramic filter material is included for biological treatment.

フィルターの清掃

Carefully remove the filter head and access the filter media compartments. Clean the mechanical filter media (e.g., sponges) by rinsing them in old aquarium water to preserve beneficial bacteria. Replace chemical filter media (e.g., activated carbon) as recommended by the manufacturer. Ceramic biological media should only be gently rinsed if heavily clogged.
