3.1 Installing with the Stay-in-Car Base (LATCH System)

1. Position the stay-in-car base on the vehicle seat in the rear-facing orientation.
2. Extend the 1-click LATCH connectors from the base.
3. Attach the LATCH connectors to your vehicle's lower anchors until you hear a click, indicating a secure connection.
4. Press down firmly on the base and tighten the LATCH strap to remove any slack, ensuring the base is securely installed with minimal movement (less than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path).
5. Adjust the base to one of the 3 available recline positions to achieve the correct recline angle for your infant, indicated by the level indicator on the base.

3.2 Installing Without the Base (Taxi-Mode)

For convenience when using the car seat in vehicles without a base (e.g., taxis), the Mico Luxe can be installed using the vehicle's seat belt.
