- Prepare the Softbox: Lay your softbox flat with the mounting ring opening facing upwards.
- Insert Softbox Rods: Carefully insert the ends of your softbox's support rods into the designated holes on the Fotodiox Speedring. Ensure all rods are fully seated. The speedring is designed to accommodate standard 1/4" (6mm-7mm) rods.
- Attach to Strobe Light: Align the speedring's Bowens mount with the mounting receptacle on your strobe flash light. Insert the speedring into the strobe's mount and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place, indicating a secure lock.
- Secure Position (Optional): If your softbox requires a specific orientation, rotate the outer ring of the speedring to achieve the desired angle. Once positioned, tighten the thumb screw lock to prevent rotation during use.
操作手順
Once the speedring and softbox are securely mounted to your strobe light, the assembly is ready for use. The speedring allows for the attachment of various softbox shapes, including rectangular and octagonal designs, to your Bowens-mount lighting equipment.
