Mounting Your Action Camera

The Smart G1 gimbal supports most action cameras with a load capacity of up to 200 grams (0.44 pounds). It is compatible with GoPro Hero 12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5, OSMO Action, and Sony RX0.

There are two primary methods for installing your action camera:

Charging the Gimbal and GoPro

The Smart G1 gimbal has a built-in 6400mAh Li-ion battery, providing a standby time of 20 hours after a 4.5-hour charge. It also supports reverse charging for your GoPro.

1. Take out the GoPro charging cable (USB-C to USB-C).
2. Insert one end into the GoPro's charging port.
3. Insert the other end into the Smart G1's output port.
4. Single click the power button on the gimbal to start charging the GoPro. The OLED screen will display a charging icon.
5. Single click the power button again to turn off the GoPro charging function.
