3.1 Battery Installation

The Spartan SR is designed to operate with either NiMH (14 cells, 16.8 volts) or LiPo (4-6 cells, 14.8 to 22.2 volts) battery packs. Ensure batteries are fully charged before installation. The extra-long 218 mm battery tray allows for fore and aft positioning to optimize weight distribution. Secure batteries firmly using the provided retention system to prevent shifting during operation.

3.2 Transmitter Setup

The TQi 2.4 GHz Radio System provides precise control. Install four AA batteries (not included) into the transmitter. Power on the transmitter before powering on the boat.
