3. Impostazione

The ORIGBELIE External DVD Drive is designed for plug-and-play functionality, requiring no driver installation for most operating systems. Simply connect the drive to your computer using the integrated USB cable.

1. Locate an available USB 3.0 or Type-C port on your laptop or desktop computer.
2. Connect the integrated USB cable from the external DVD drive to the chosen USB port on your computer.
3. The drive will be automatically detected by your operating system.
4. For optimal performance, especially when burning discs or if your computer's USB ports provide insufficient power, connect the additional USB A to DC Power Supply Cable to a separate USB port or an external 5V power adapter (not included).

4. Utilizzo del dispositivo

4.1 Inserimento ed espulsione dei dischi

• To open the disc tray, press the 'IN/OUT' button located on the front of the drive. The tray will pop out.
• Carefully place your CD or DVD onto the tray, ensuring it is centered on the spindle.

• To eject a disc, press the 'IN/OUT' button again.

Once a disc is inserted, your computer's media player or file explorer will typically recognize it. You can then play media, access files, or use burning software to write data to compatible discs. The drive supports Max 8x DVDR Read Speed and Max 24x CD Write/Read speed.

4.3 Using Additional Ports

This drive includes additional ports for enhanced functionality:

• Porte USB: Two additional USB 2.0 ports are available for connecting other peripherals like USB flash drives, mice, or keyboards.
• TF and SD Card Reader Ports: Directly insert TF (MicroSD) or SD cards to access their contents. Nota: SD and TF card ports are not to be used at the same time.

5. Compatibilità

The ORIGBELIE External DVD Drive offers wide compatibility with various operating systems and devices:

5.1 Incompatible Devices and Formats

Please note the following incompatibilities:

• Dispositivi: This DVD RW drive can only start its job after it is connected to a laptop or a desktop. It is NON COMPATIBILE with cars, projectors, tablets, iPads, mobile phones, Chromebook, or Surface devices.
• Formati disco: Blu-ray format is NON SUPPORTATO.

6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

• Unità non rilevata: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to a functioning USB 3.0 or Type-C port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
• Alimentazione insufficiente: If the drive is not functioning stably (e.g., disc reading errors, slow performance), it may not be receiving enough power. Connect the additional USB A to DC Power Supply Cable to another USB port or an external 5V power adapter.
• Nessun driver necessario: The drive is plug-and-play. No manual driver installation is required. If your system prompts for a driver, ensure your operating system is up-to-date.
• Disc Stuck/Forced Ejection: In rare cases, if the disc tray does not open by pressing the 'IN/OUT' button, locate the small pinhole next to the button. Gently insert a straightened paperclip into the pinhole to manually eject the tray.
• Windows 11 Specifics: For Windows 11, ensure you have a media player installed and an active network connection for full functionality.
