1. Introduzione

The Pic Solution ClearRAPID is an advanced automatic arm-type blood pressure monitor designed for accurate and comfortable home use. The large, backlit display provides clear readings even in low light conditions. 4. Impostazione

4.1 Installazione della batteria

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the device.
2. Insert four (4) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
3. Chiudere bene il coperchio del vano batterie.

4.2 Attacco del bracciale

1. Connect the air tube of the cuff to the air jack on the side of the blood pressure monitor unit.
2. Ensure the cuff is suitable for your arm circumference (M-L size: 22-42 cm).
3. Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above the elbow joint. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm.
4. The bottom edge of the cuff should be above the elbow. The artery mark on the cuff should be positioned over your brachial artery (on the inside of your arm).

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

5.1 Prima della misurazione

• Riposare per almeno 5 minuti prima di effettuare la misurazione.
• Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes prior to measurement.
• Siediti comodamente con la schiena appoggiata e i piedi ben appoggiati sul pavimento. Non accavallare le gambe.
• Place your arm on a table so that the cuff is at heart level.
• Rimanere fermi e in silenzio durante la misurazione.

5.2 Esecuzione di una misurazione

1. Ensure the cuff is correctly attached to your arm and the air tube is connected to the monitor.
2. Premere il tasto AVVIO/ARRESTO button to turn on the device. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
3. Remain still and do not talk during the inflation and measurement process. The Rapid Tech - Comfort Experience technology will measure during inflation.
4. Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic (SYS), diastolic (DIA), and pulse (Pul/min) readings will be displayed on the screen.
5. Premere il tasto AVVIO/ARRESTO nuovamente il pulsante per spegnere il dispositivo, altrimenti si spegnerà automaticamente dopo un periodo di inattività.

5.3 Comprensione delle letture

• SYS (Pressione sistolica): The highest pressure in the arteries when the heart beats.
• DIA (pressione diastolica): The lowest pressure in the arteries when the heart rests between beats.
• Pul/min (Pulse Rate): The number of heartbeats per minute.
• Rilevatore di battiti cardiaci irregolari: If an irregular heartbeat is detected, a corresponding symbol will appear on the display. Consult your doctor if this symbol appears frequently.
• Arm Movement Sensor: An icon will appear if excessive arm movement is detected during measurement, indicating a potentially inaccurate reading.

5.4 Funzione di memoria

The ClearRAPID monitor can store up to 200 readings, organized into two user areas (A and B), or for morning and evening measurements. It also automatically calculates the average of the last 3 readings.

• Per accedere alle letture memorizzate, premere il tasto MEM pulsante.
• Utilizzare il IMPOSTATO button to switch between user areas (A/B) or to view different stored readings.
• The average of the last 3 readings will be displayed first when accessing the memory.

• Clean the device and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
