4. Impostazione

1. Position the Soldering Station: Place the soldering station on a stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface in a well-ventilated area.
2. Collegare il saldatore: Plug the soldering iron cable securely into the designated port on the soldering station.
3. Insert Soldering Sponge: Moisten the included soldering sponge with water and place it in the designated compartment on the station. The sponge is used to clean the soldering tip.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

5.1. Accensione/spegnimento

• To turn on the soldering station, press the power switch located on the station. The indicator light will illuminate.
• To turn off the soldering station, press the power switch again. The indicator light will turn off.

5.2. Regolazione della temperatura

• The soldering station features an adjustable temperature range from approximately 100°C to 500°C.
• Use the temperature control knob on the station to set the desired temperature. Refer to your solder wire specifications for recommended soldering temperatures.
• Allow a few minutes for the soldering iron to reach the set temperature.

5.3. Processo di saldatura

2. Tin the Tip: Before first use and periodically during operation, clean the soldering tip on the moist sponge and apply a small amount of solder to "tin" it. This improves heat transfer.
3. Applicare calore: Place the hot soldering tip against both the component lead and the circuit board pad simultaneously.
4. Applicare la saldatura: After a second or two, touch the solder wire to the junction of the tip and the workpiece. The solder should melt and flow smoothly, forming a shiny, conical joint. Do not apply solder directly to the iron tip.
5. Remove Solder and Iron: Remove the solder wire first, then lift the soldering iron away from the joint. Allow the joint to cool undisturbed.

6. Manutenzione

• Ensure the soldering iron is cool and disconnected from power before attempting to change the tip.

• Carefully remove the old tip and insert the new tip, ensuring it is fully seated.

6.3. Cleaning the Station
