Introduzione

The MOOER Groove Loop is a versatile micro pedal that combines a looper and a drum machine into a single, compact unit. Designed for guitarists and musicians, it offers a powerful tool for practice, songwriting, and live performance. With its intuitive controls and multiple operational modes, the Groove Loop provides a dynamic rhythmic foundation and creative looping capabilities.

Impostare

Before connecting your MOOER Groove Loop, ensure all other equipment is powered off to prevent damage.

Collegamento di potenza

The Groove Loop requires a 9V DC 120mA power supply (not included). Connect the power adapter to the "DC IN" jack on the top of the pedal.

  1. Connect your instrument (e.g., guitar) or other pedals to the "INPUT" jack on the right side of the Groove Loop using a 1/4" mono jack cable.
  2. Connect the "OUTPUT" jack on the left side of the Groove Loop to your amplifier or audio interface using a 1/4" mono jack cable.

Modalità operative

The MOOER Groove Loop features three distinct operational modes, selected via the MODE SWITCH toggle on the top of the pedal.

1. LOOPER Mode

In LOOPER mode, the pedal functions as a standalone looper. The drum machine is inactive. This mode is ideal for creating and layering guitar phrases.

  • Documentazione: Press the footswitch once. The LED will turn RED, indicating recording.
  • Riproduzione: Press the footswitch again to stop recording and start playback. The LED will turn BLUE.
  • Doppiaggio: While playing back, press the footswitch once to enter dubbing mode. The LED will turn RED. Press again to stop dubbing and continue playback (LED BLUE).
  • Stop: Double-press the footswitch to stop playback. The LED will turn OFF.
  • Delete Layer: While playing back, press and hold the footswitch for 2 seconds to delete the last recorded layer.
  • Cancella tutto: While stopped, press and hold the footswitch for 2 seconds to delete all recorded loops.

2. DRUM Mode

In DRUM mode, the pedal functions solely as a drum machine. Looping functions are inactive. This mode is useful for practicing with rhythmic backing without recording.

  • Seleziona Groove: Use the GROOVE SELECTOR knob to choose from 8 drum groove styles, each with 2 variations (16 total).
  • Tocca Tempo: Press the TAP TEMPO button multiple times to set the desired tempo for the drum groove. The LED will flash to indicate the tempo.

3. LOOPER + DRUM Mode (L+D)

This mode combines the functionality of both the looper and the drum machine. You can record loops while a drum groove plays, and the recording will automatically synchronize to the drum groove's tempo.

  • Avvia la registrazione: Press the footswitch once. The LED will turn RED. A single bar of metronome clicks will play to ensure you begin recording in time with the groove.
  • All other looper functions (Playback, Dub, Stop, Delete Layer, Delete All) work the same as in LOOPER mode.
  • Drum Groove Selection and Tap Tempo work the same as in DRUM mode.

  1. Interruttore a pedale: Used to control looping functions (Record, Playback, Dub, Stop, Delete).
  2. Pulsante TAP TEMPO: Press several times to adjust the tempo of the drum groove.
  3. GROOVE SELECTOR Knob: Selects which drum groove you wish to use.
  4. LOOPER LEVEL Knob: Adjusts the master volume of the looper playback.

Manutenzione

    • Ensure the pedal is in DRUM or L+D mode.
    • Verify the DRUM LEVEL knob is not set to minimum.
    • Use the TAP TEMPO button to set the desired tempo.
    • Rotate the GROOVE SELECTOR knob to try different drum patterns.
