Quick Start Guide

Setting up your router
Step one: power on the router
· Plug in the router. You can use the provided AC adapter, a USB-powered hub, or a USB-powered delivery device.
NOTE: Using a USB-powered hub for setup allows you to find the best location without unplugging the router.
· When the device status LED is solid blue (5G) or green (LTE), the router is on. It may take up to three minutes for the router to fully power on.
Step two: identify a location for your router
To find the best location, you can use the FX4100 LEDs and display, or you can use the Inseego MobileTM app. Location suggestions:
– Ideally on an exterior wall closest to the nearest cell – Near a window but not in direct sunlight – On or above ground level (not in a basement) – Clear from obstructions and interference from other electronics – Outside of cabinets or locations that can get excessively hot
· Adjust the location of the router until the cellular status LED is blue (5 bars) or cyan (4 bars), and the device display shows four or five bars.
NOTE: You can now pair X700 Mesh Wi-Fi. Go to go.inseego.com/fx4100 for guidance.
