Thank you for purchasing our webcam. This guide will help you set up and start using it. The 871AI Smart Tracking Camera is a dual-axis gimbal intelligent network camera. It connects via USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.X ports, offering plug-and-play functionality without driver installation.

Installation Instructions
1. Place on the Monitor: Open the adjustable base and place the device on the monitor or laptop.
2. Place on the UNC 1/4-inch Screw Camera Stand: Secure the device onto the adjustable camera stand.
Connecting to the Computer
The camera is compatible with Windows and macOS. Connect using the included USB data cable to a USB 3.X port on your computer, inserting the Type-C end into the camera. The camera powers on and performs a self-test. A yellow status indicator light signifies readiness for video conferencing or live streaming applications like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, or Google Meet.
1. Windows:
- Open "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Camera" and enable "Allow apps to access my camera."
- Enable camera access for required applications. You may need to switch to the Full HD camera within the "Camera" app.
2. macOS:
- Open "Apple Menu" > "System Preferences" > "Security & Privacy," then select "Camera" from the left panel.
- Find the application needing camera access and check the box next to its name.
3. Software (Zoom or others):
Open "Settings" > "Video" > "Camera" and select this camera.
Important Notes
1. Heat Generation:
The camera may generate some heat after prolonged use, which is normal.
2. Power Requirements:
To avoid power insufficiency, connect the camera directly to your computer or a docking station with independent power. A DC 5V 1A power cable and adapter are recommended for optimal performance.
3. Power Adapter:
The power adapter is not included. Please purchase one based on your needs.
4. 4K Video Streaming:
4K video streaming requires compatible third-party software. Please download and install it as needed.
5. Data Cable and Port:
If experiencing issues like video lag, stuttering, screen flickering, automatic reboots, crashes, or AI tracking failure, ensure the camera is connected to a USB 3.X port using the included USB 3.1 cable. Avoid USB 2.0 ports, USB hubs, or extension cables, which may cause insufficient power supply.
Manual Gimbal Self-Test
If a self-test issue occurs, manually trigger it by pressing the Gimbal Self-Test button on the remote control. The device will self-test until normal operation is restored.
Privacy/Sleep Mode
A yellow status light indicates a successful self-test or closed video conferencing app, signaling the camera is entering sleep mode. When the app is reopened, the light turns blue, and the camera resumes operation.
Gesture Controls
1. Enter Tracking Mode:
Make an "OK" gesture. The status light blinks twice, then stays solid green, indicating human (subject) tracking mode is active.
2. Exit Tracking Mode (Factory Default):
Make a palm gesture. The status light blinks twice, then stays solid blue, indicating human tracking mode is exited.
3. Enter Zoom In Mode:
Make a zoom-in gesture. The status light blinks continuously blue, indicating zoom-in mode is active.
4. Enter Zoom Out Mode:
Make a "1" gesture. The status light blinks continuously blue, indicating zoom-out mode is active.

Human Tracking Mode
Make an "OK" gesture. The status light blinks twice and then stays solid green, indicating successful entry into human tracking mode. The camera will automatically switch and track a new target if another person enters the frame.
Preset 4 Scene Effect Modes
Press the “WB setting” button on the remote control to switch between the following modes:
- WB Standard Video Mode: Balanced color and brightness for video chats, conferences, and office settings.
- WB Live Streaming Sales Mode: Optimized for indoor live streaming sales, delivering vibrant colors, especially with lighting.
- Green Screen Live Streaming Mode: Optimized for green screen keying in live streaming sales.
- Entertainment Live Streaming Mode: Enhances subject brightness and skin tone for entertainment scenarios.
Supports Parameter Adjustment Memory:
The camera remembers adjusted settings. Restore to factory settings by pressing the "Factory Default" button on the remote or using the "Restore Defaults" option in the app.
Supports Multi-Camera Remote Control:

Button Description
The remote control features buttons for:
- Camera Position 1, 2, 3
- Preset buttons P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6
1. Battery Installation:
Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, observing correct +/- polarity. Pressing Camera Position 1, 2, or 3 briefly will cause the indicator light to flash red once, confirming remote operation.
2. Factory Default State:
The remote is unpaired by default. In this state, any Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3) or unpaired remotes of the same model can control multiple cameras.
3. Force Pairing Mode (Set Camera Position):
To control multiple cameras (up to 3) with one remote:
- Assign numbers to cameras to avoid confusion. Power on one camera and set it to preview mode.
- Press and hold the desired Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3) on the remote for 3 seconds.
- A "PAIRED" message on the computer screen and a red indicator light flash confirm successful pairing. The camera can now be controlled by the assigned button.
- To pair additional cameras, turn off the already paired camera and repeat the steps.
4. Camera Position Lock:
Once a Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3) is paired, the camera accepts commands only from its assigned button.
5. Controlling Paired Cameras:
To operate a paired camera:
- Briefly press the paired Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3). The indicator light will flash red once.
- Press any function button to control the camera.
Troubleshooting:
If a paired camera only responds to its corresponding Camera Position button, ensure the correct position is selected. If the camera has been forcibly paired and locked by another remote, re-pair it following Step 3.
