Remote Control User Guide

Button Description

The remote control features buttons for:

1. Battery Installation:

Insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, observing correct +/- polarity. Pressing Camera Position 1, 2, or 3 briefly will cause the indicator light to flash red once, confirming remote operation.

2. Factory Default State:

The remote is unpaired by default. In this state, any Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3) or unpaired remotes of the same model can control multiple cameras.

3. Force Pairing Mode (Set Camera Position):

To control multiple cameras (up to 3) with one remote:

  1. Assign numbers to cameras to avoid confusion. Power on one camera and set it to preview mode.
  2. Press and hold the desired Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3) on the remote for 3 seconds.
  3. A "PAIRED" message on the computer screen and a red indicator light flash confirm successful pairing. The camera can now be controlled by the assigned button.
  4. To pair additional cameras, turn off the already paired camera and repeat the steps.

4. Camera Position Lock:

Once a Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3) is paired, the camera accepts commands only from its assigned button.

5. Controlling Paired Cameras:

To operate a paired camera:

  1. Briefly press the paired Camera Position button (1, 2, or 3). The indicator light will flash red once.
  2. Press any function button to control the camera.

Troubleshooting:

If a paired camera only responds to its corresponding Camera Position button, ensure the correct position is selected. If the camera has been forcibly paired and locked by another remote, re-pair it following Step 3.
