I’m sorry, I wanted an opinion.
I don’t understand why when I connect the HiperX microphone to my Mac the sound is muted. I can record voice but if I don’t unplug the cable I can’t hear it again. Can you help me?

Non capisco perche’ quando collego al mio Mac il microfono HiperX mi si esclude l’audio. Posso registrare la voce ma se non scollego il cavo non la posso risentire. Potete aiutarmi?

Why is my Mac audio muted when I connect the HyperX QuadCast S, and why can I only hear sound after unplugging it?
When you connect the HyperX QuadCast S to your Mac, macOS often automatically switches both the Input and Output device to the microphone. Because the microphone has its own built-in headphone jack, the Mac is sending the sound to the microphone instead of your computer speakers.
To fix this so you can hear audio while the microphone is plugged in, you have two options:
Connect your headphones directly to the 3.5mm headphone jack (D) located on the back of the QuadCast S. This allows you to monitor your voice in real-time and hear the playback audio from your Mac simultaneously.
If you want the sound to come out of your Mac speakers or a different device while the mic is connected:
Note: Ensure the Gain control knob (B) at the bottom of the microphone is adjusted correctly for recording, and the Tap-to-mute sensor (A) on top is not glowing red if you intend to record.
