Product Information

Specifications:

  • Designed for Variable Air Volume (VAV) balancing
  • Integrated Bluetooth technology for easy access
  • Utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for connection
  • Compatible with BACnetTM network
  • Range: 20-30 meters for BLE connection

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Connect to VAV Controllers:

To access the functions of VAV controllers, follow these
steps:

  1. The configured device name will be displayed in the list of BLE
    devices.
  2. The list is organized based on signal strength, with the
    strongest signals at the top.

Note: Ensure the Mobile Device and the
controller are within the BLE range (20-30 meters). Only the first
21 characters of the Device name will be displayed due to BLE
advertisement character limitation.

2. Single Controller Balancing:

To balance a single controller:

  • Select ‘Balance This Controller’ option.
  • If the controller is already balanced, you can choose to clear
    before rebalancing.
  • Non-Alerton controllers support 2 calibration types – Flow
Calibration factor (default 1) & Manufacturer K factor.

3. Multiple Controller Balancing:

To balance multiple controllers:

  • Filter properties to display unbalanced, balanced, zeroed
controllers, or those that are not zeroed.
  • Select ‘Multiple Controllers’ and perform operations on
    selected controllers.

4. View Controller:

To view or update controller properties and settings:

  • Choose ‘View Controller’ option.
  • View or update the controller by following operations.

5. Move Damper Operation:

Adjust the position of VAV dampers for airflow
redistribution:

  • ‘Move Damper by Airflow’: Command/set damper to a specific
    target airflow.
  • ‘Move Damper by Position’: Set the damper to a specific
    position based on a percentage.

6. Zero Calibration:

Ensure accuracy and efficiency of VAV controller operations by
managing calibrations and settings effectively through Zero
Calibration option.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
