General Safety Information · Keep the product and all its parts out of reach of small children. · Do not attempt to open the product. This product does not contain any user serviceable parts. Unauthorised handling and/or improper use of the product could result in an electric shock or fire hazard. · Do not use your product near emergency/intensive care medical equipment; or during an electrical storm. · Ensure that when you are using the product, your hands are fully dry before connecting to charge, pressing any of the buttons or using the rotary control. · Do not subject this product to excessive force, shock, dust or extreme temperatures. Power Source · Only use the USB charging cable that came with the product. Using an unauthorised charging cable will invalidate your guarantee and may irrecoverably damage the product. · Disconnect your product from the charging cable during thunderstorms. · Always check that you have completely switched off your product before you change or disconnect the power supply. · If the product will not be used for a long period of time, make sure that the USB charging cable is disconnected. · This product has a built integral rechargeable battery (2000mAh) that cannot be replaced. · Never try to dismantle the product and do not short-circuit the supply terminals. · Dispose of the product responsibly at a local authority household waste recycling facility. DO NOT dispose of this product in a fire as the battery may explode or leak. 4 Safety Information Moisture and water · Do not use this product near water or any wet areas such as in a bathroom, near a bath, wash bowl, kitchen sink or swimming pool. · Do not expose this product to rain or moisture. · Do not expose this product to dripping or splashing or place near any objects filled with water. · Do not leave it in low temperatures as moisture can form inside the product, which may damage the circuit board. Heat sources and flames · Do not leave it in high temperatures as electronic devices and plastic parts may warp in heat. · Keep it away from bright sunlight or heat sources, such as a radiator or stove. · No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on or near the product. Battery charge status LED · Red: Charging · Green: Fully charged 7 Getting to know your Lull Portable White Noise and Bluetooth Speaker Charging the battery Your product has an integral rechargeable Li-Ion battery. Before you use your product for the first time, you need to charge the battery for a minimum of 2 hours. 1. Connect the USB-C cable supplied to the USB-C socket on the right hand side of the product. 2. Plug the standard end of the charging cable into a computer or other USB charging device. The battery charging status LED will turn on: · Red: Charging · Green: Fully charged Please unplug the USB cable from the USB-C charge socket once the product battery has been fully charged. After prolonged use when the product battery needs recharging, you may notice that the product function has become intermittent. Please check the battery charging status LED as it will flash red when you need to recharge the battery. Notes · The battery charging time will vary if you are listening to sounds or music whilst charging. We recommended that you switch off the product whilst charging the battery. · To prolong the life of the integral battery, please completely discharge it before fully charging each time. · If you don't use your product very often, please be sure to recharge the battery at least once a month to prolong the life of the integral battery. 8 Getting to know your Lull Portable White Noise and Bluetooth Speaker Connect to a Bluetooth Device Check that your product is in Bluetooth mode. The blue Bluetooth status LED will be flashing. If you are not in Bluetooth mode, short press the button to go to Bluetooth mode. In Bluetooth mode: 1. Your product will search for Bluetooth devices, the blue Bluetooth status LED will be flashing. 2. On the device that you would like to connect to your product via Bluetooth (e.g. iPhone/iPad/Android/other phone/Tablet/Computer), turn on Bluetooth connectivity and ensure that it is `discoverable'. Note: If necessary, refer to the instructions for your device to add or set up Bluetooth. 3. Select to `Add new device', if necessary. Note: Some products will automatically search for a new device and so the `Add new device' option is not available. 4. When found, your product will be displayed as `W5'. Select the device name to begin pairing. Note: If your device requests a password, please enter `0000' to complete the device pairing. 5. When pairing is complete the blue LED will change to be continuously on and you will hear a connection tone. Now that you have paired your device with the product, it will connect to it when it is within range, which is about 10 metres or less (33 feet or less), line of sight. Your device will remain paired with the product unless you decide to disconnect or `unpair' it. 9 Using your Lull Portable White Noise and Bluetooth Speaker Power On/Off Long press the LED will turn on. In Bluetooth mode the blue Bluetooth Status LED will flash to show that your product is scanning for Bluetooth devices. Adjusting the volume Turn the rotary Volume control clockwise to increase the volume and anticlockwise to decrease the volume. Listening to White noise or Sounds There are 20 different sounds included in your product for you to listen to, such as white noise, bubbling stream, thunderstorm, rain, crashing waves, bird sound, jungle and night sounds. In sounds mode: 1. Use the or button to scroll to the White noise or Sounds that you would like to listen to. 2. Use the rotary control to adjust the volume. 10 Sounds included in your Lull White Noise & Bluetooth Speaker 1. White Noise 1 A soft and calming frequency perfect to mask external noise. 2. White Noise 2 Looping constant sound with an equal intensity and amplitude. 3. Purple Noise A slight increase of 6 db per octave giving a smooth audible unique sound. 4. Rainforest Sounds of the forest with a chirping noise of a bird in the canopy. 5. Brown Noise A stronger deeper sound without the high frequency. 6. Slow moving river Water lapping over pebbles running down a gentle hill. 7. Summer nights Relaxing balmy evening with a soft peaceful harmony. 8. Crackle A distant memory of roasting marshmallows around a windy camp-fire. 9. Heavy rain Constant and refreshing sound of raindrops falling on wet ground. 10. Fan A reassuring continuous noise of an air conditioning unit in the background. 11. Windy Breezy natural sound reminding you of blustery nights and the power of nature Using your Lull Portable White Noise and Bluetooth Speaker Listening to Music/Audio using Bluetooth In Bluetooth mode: 1. Select and start the music or audio that you wish to listen to on your paired Bluetooth device, it will now be heard through the product speaker. Adjust the volume on the connected device and/or your product Speaker. 2. You can use the controls on your paired Bluetooth device as well as the rotary volume or previous and next track buttons on your product. Sleep timer You can set your product to switch off automatically using the sleep timer. You can choose from Off, 30, 60 or 90 minutes. In Sounds or Bluetooth mode: 1. Short press the button to move the blue Sleep timer LED to the sleep time that you would like. 2. The sleep timer minutes will count down until your product switches off automatically. No sound / power: · Adjust the volume using the rotary volume control. · If you are using bluetooth, check that your product has paired successfully. · If you are using bluetooth adjust the volume on the connected device and/ or your product speaker. · The integral rechargeable battery may be exhausted, please recharge the battery. No charge: · Check the USB-C connection to your product and to the computer or charging device. · Check that the computer is powered on and try using another USB port. · If the integral battery is completely exhausted, you will need to wait a short while after it has been on charge, before the product will power on. Unable to pair with a Bluetooth device: · Check that you are in bluetooth mode. · Ensure that you are within range of the speaker for bluetooth functionality, 10 metres or less (33 feet or less). · Check that the device you are attempting to pair with supports A2DP stereo audio transmission. · Move the speaker and bluetooth device away from other bluetooth devices/ electrical equipment. · If possible, turn off other nearby bluetooth devices or disable their bluetooth functionality. 15 Product Support Poor sound quality from a Bluetooth device: · Ensure that you are within range of the Speaker for Bluetooth functionality, 10 metres or less (33 feet or less). · The integral rechargeable battery may be exhausted, please recharge the battery. Disposal: · This product should not be treated as normal household waste and it should be recycled.
