STEP 2 Place brew core into pitcher and pour cold water over coffee. STEP 3 Brew in the refrigerator to desired strength. Remove brew core. Serve and enjoy! LID Lid may be used with or without the Brew Core. Lid attaches with a twist to the right, and removes with a twist to the left. Lid will click into open position after one full turn. PITCHER · Always use with handle. · Pour while holding handle · Mix while holding handle PITCHER RECIPES COLD BREW ICED COFFEE Ingredients: 6¾ cups (54 oz.) cold brew coffee 2 cup (16 oz.) milk sweetener (optional) Combine coffee, milk, and sweetener into pitcher. Pour coffee beverage over ice and Enjoy! Recipe is suggestion only, adjust based on taste. Water may be added to dilute. SUGGESTIONS · Additions before brewing (optional): Experiment by mixing the grounds with cardamom, chicory, nutmeg, ginger, coconut or cinnamon before brewing. · Additions after brewing (optional): Remove Brew Core and clean, replace Brew Core and add one or more of the following for additional flavoring (these additional flavorings should only be left in for 1-2 days) citrus zests (orange, lemon or lime), basil, mint, lavender. USAGE INSTRUCTIONS · Place ground coffee beans in the Brew Core. Fill to top of brew core mesh windows, 16 tbsp or ½ lb coffee. For best results, use fresh roasted, coarsely ground coffee. · Insert core inside pitcher and slowly pour 2 cups of water over the ground coffee to dampen. Once coffee is damp, slowly fill the remainder of the pitcher with water to cover grounds or up to the top of the windows in the Brew Core. Be careful not to overfill pitcher with water. Once pitcher is full, stir grounds until fully saturated with water. · Tighten lid and place in refrigerator to cold brew for 12-24 hours. For ultimate flavor extraction, stir grounds during brewing process. · Remove Brew Core from pitcher. Easily screw off bottom to release used coffee grounds. Always remember to remove Brew Core before pouring coffee. Makes 54 oz. of cold brew coffee with core removed. 5. To enjoy the best cold brew coffee, creamer (or cream substitute), sugar, water and ice can be added to taste. Cold brew coffee can be stored up to 14 days. COLD BREW BENEFITS Cold Brew brewing is extracting sweet flavored, low acidic coffee through brewing in cool water over longer period. Cold brew coffee is on average 65% less acidic and naturally sweeter than hot brewed coffee. TIP If grounds escape from the Brew Core due to accidental overflow, the Brew Core can be used to filter the coffee. After brewing is complete, pour coffee into a clean Brew Core to pass through the filter a second time; this will remove any excess grounds. Easily double filter directly into a cup or transfer the entire batch into another clean pitcher to enjoy later. BEST USE INSTRUCTIONS · For best results, use fresh roasted, coarsely ground coffee · Fill with water slowly; be careful not to allow grounds to overflow from the core · Keep pitcher in upright position · Designed to fit most refrigerator doors · For best results, allow coffee to brew 24 hours · Remove core before pouring · When pouring out of the pitcher, open lid halfway, aligning arrows with spout and handle · To pour any residual liquid that may become trapped at the bottom of the pitcher, remove the entire lid before pouring.
