How to Assemble Your Electric Skillet
Remove all parts from the packaging.
- Locate the lid knob in the packaging.
- Center the knob on the glass lid above the screw hole.
- Place the head screw through the screw hole on the center of the inside of the lid.
- Tighten the screw into the lid knob. Do not overtighten. The lid is now ready for use.
- Attach handles: Place left handle onto mounting studs under skillet pot. Use screwdriver to attach 2 screws through holes in the leg into the skillet pot. Repeat for the right handle. CAUTION: Overtightening can result in stripping of screws or cracking of handles or feet.
How to Use Your Electric Skillet
- Set the skillet on a flat, dry, heat-resistant surface. Caution: Some countertop and table surfaces are not designed to withstand prolonged heat. For extended use, consider placing a hot pad or trivet under the skillet.
- Ensure the temperature control is in the "OFF" position. Insert the temperature control probe securely into the receptacle on the skillet.
- Plug the cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
- Turn the temperature control to the desired setting. The indicator light will come on when you set or adjust the temperature. The light will go out once the desired temperature is reached. The light may briefly come on when adding food, indicating the temperature is being adjusted.
- Preheat the skillet with the lid on for 10-15 minutes, or until the indicator light goes out.
- If heating oil, always leave the lid off. If oil smokes, immediately turn the skillet "OFF" and allow it to cool.
NOTE: The cooking temperatures listed are estimates. Adjust as needed for your preference.
How to Clean Your Electric Skillet
