Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing the Uplivin Glide 2-in-1 Rollator and Transport Chair. This product is designed to enhance mobility for individuals with limited physical strength or mobility, serving as both a rollator and a transport chair. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, providing a comfortable seating option when being pushed.
Please read these instructions thoroughly before using the product to ensure safe and enjoyable operation.
Warnings
- Before use, ensure the Glide is fully unfolded and locked in position, and that the brakes are functioning correctly.
- Both brake levers must be applied simultaneously for either driving or parking.
- Confirm all components are locked before use. Do not use if any part is damaged, broken, cracked, or missing.
- When using as a rollator and before sitting, engage the parking brakes with both handles.
- Do not push the Glide forward if parking or driving brakes are engaged.
- The Glide is designed for one person weighing no more than 136 kg (300 lbs). Do not use for heavy goods.
- Do not adjust push tubes forward or backward while using as a seat.
- Not suitable for use as a transport chair in taxis, buses, or cars.
- Do not use on stairs or uneven terrain (gravel, grass, sand, soil).
- Avoid leaning forward when seated as a transport chair to prevent tipping.
- Exercise caution when converting between modes or folding/unfolding to avoid trapping fingers.
- Children should be warned that the Glide is not a toy.
- Be cautious with extreme temperatures as parts may become hot or cold.
- Avoid wearing long clothing that could get caught in the wheels.
- Once converted to a transport chair, do not use as a rollator.

Operation
Unfolding the Glide
- Unlock the hook at the back of the seat.
- Press down on both sides of the seat with flattened palms to unfold. A click indicates it is properly unfolded.
- Warning: Keep fingers clear of the underside of the seat when pressing down to avoid pinching.
Folding the Glide
- Pull the strap in the middle of the seat upwards to fold.
- Secure the hook at the back of the seat once folded.
Converting to Transport Chair Mode
- Apply parking brakes on both sides.
- Pull push tubes backward while pulling up lock pins until they click. Be careful not to trap fingers.
- Flip the backrest backward.
- Pull up the footrest frames.
- Flip the footrests forward.
- Lower the footrests.
- Release parking brakes.
Converting to Rollator Mode
- Apply parking brakes on both sides.
- Pull push tubes forward while pulling up lock pins until they click. Be careful not to trap fingers.
- Flip the backrest forward.
- Fold up the footrests.
- Fold the footrest frames up.
- Flip the footrests to the sides.
- Release parking brakes.
Using the Brakes
- Pulling brake levers up slows the Glide to a stop (driving brakes).
- Pushing brake levers down engages the parking brakes.
Adjusting Handle Height
- Loosen the two handle-tightening levers.
- While pressing the height-adjustment button, move handles up or down.
- Fasten the handle-tightening levers.
- Ensure both handles are at the same height for correct posture and weight distribution.
Adjusting Footrest Height
- Loosen the footrest screw with a 5mm Allen key and remove the footrest.
- Select the appropriate hole on the frame for desired height, align footrest, insert screw, and tighten. Repeat for the other side.
Adjusting the Brakes
The brake adjustment screw is near the rear wheel brake point. Push the screw head towards the rear wheel and rotate to adjust brake tension.
Storage Bag
Mounted on two forks under the seat.
Walking Stick Holder
Mounted on the side of a push tube.
Maintenance
Clean the Glide with a general-purpose detergent and lukewarm water. Do not store in damp or very hot environments.
Warranty
The two-year warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of parts like wheels and cables.
