Charging the Camera

The Action camera includes a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. Please ensure the battery is fitted inside the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera and that the cover is firmly closed. To recharge the battery, connect the end of the charge cable to the Micro USB port on the side of the camera and the other end into a computer or other 5V USB charger with a minimum charge capacity of 1A.

NOTE: The red indicator LED will turn on while the battery is charging and will turn off once battery is fully charged.

Storage Card

NOTE: There is no built-in memory unit in this camera, please insert a Micro SD card into the slot before use.

1. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot.
2. To remove the Micro SD card, gently press the Micro SD card, it will automatically pop-up for removal.

PLEASE NOTE:

• We recommend the use of a high-speed Class 10 memory card for the best results.
• This Action Camera will operate with memory cards up to a 64GB capacity.

Power On/Off

Press and hold the front power/mode button to switch the camera on or off.

Camera Modes

To change the camera mode tap the front Power button and use the up and down buttons to scroll between Normal Video, Video Lapse, Slow Motion, Normal Photos, Photo Lapse, Burst Mode, Car Mode, Timed Photos & Playback.

Video Recording Modes

Press the top Shutter button once to start and press once again to stop the recording process. When activated in the settings, the time of the current recording will be displayed on the bottom center of the screen together with a flashing red dot to show the camera is recording video. Briefly press the side UP button to access the settings menu where you can configure the video quality settings as desired. This applies to the Normal Video, Video Lapse, Slow Motion and Car Modes.

Still Photography Modes

Press the top shutter button to take a photo or start the photo taking sequence. Briefly press the side UP button to access the settings menu where you can configure the Picture quality settings as desired. This applies to the Normal Photos, Photo Lapse, Burst and Timed Photo Modes.

Playback Mode

Use this mode to view videos and photos recorded on the camera. Use the side UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through your recordings. Tapping the top OK button will begin playing back video recordings.

Holding down the top OK button will bring up a delete option should you want to erase a recording permanently.

Settings Mode

From Any Mode press the Up button or the down button to enter the camera settings mode. Here you can you can customize the Sleep, startup, WIFI, Language, Time, Date stamp, LDC, Frequency and Scene settings to your preference. You can also perform a Factory Reset (all your settings will be wiped and set back to their default values), Format your Micro SD card (note: doing this will delete everything on the card and you will not be able to recover the data.) and flip the screen upside down (this would be used when you are mounting your camera upside down and still want to be able to easily use the camera).

WiFi and Smart Device Use

Your Action Camera can pair with a WiFi enabled device such as a smartphone to control the camera remotely.

To enable this function on your smart-phone, please download and install the “YUTUpro's” application from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

Switch on WiFi mode by holding the “Up” button on the camera until it says “Turning wifi on”, then turn on the Wifi on your smart-phone. Search for new WiFi connections on your smart-phone and connect to the device "Vision".

Should you be prompted for a password, please use 12345678. Now open the YUTUpro's application on your smartphone and you will be able to control the camera remotely from your phone. When you have finished using the application, please switch WiFi off again to conserve battery.

USB Connection Mode

This will show the contents of the memory card on the computer. Use your computer file manager to view or copy files. For best results when playing back videos on a computer, we recommend the use of a HD (high definition video player such as VLC which can be downloaded from www.videolan.org.

Safety Precautions

• The power supply used with your device must correspond to its original requirements.
• Never use your device or charge your device in the rain, in a wet environment close to sources of water without its waterproof case.
• Never place near an open flame, explosive substances or leave the device in direct sunlight or heat.
• Only use the accessories and connectors supplied. The use of any other type of accessory not specifically designed for the purpose may cause irreparable damage to your device.
• Only use and keep your device in an environment where the temperature is between 0°C and 35°C.
• Keep your device out of the reach of children.
• Do not dismantle your device or try to repair it yourself.
• Do not use your device if it has been subject to impact or damage.
• To avoid any risk of electrification, turn off and unplug your device from the main power supply.

Safety Precautions

• If it is required to clean the camera surface, first blow away the sand dust accumulated on this surface, and then wipe the camera gently with rag or tissue applicable to optical equipments. Please use a cleaning agent made for a video camera for wiping if necessary. Do not use organic solvent to clean the video camera.
• Do not touch the lens surface with fingers.
• Do not use nails or metal objects on the the screen to avoid scratching.

Environmentally Friendly Disposal

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
