HILTI 2 HC8 FS Drop-In Device CFS-DID
Product Information
The product is called FS Drop-In Device CFS-DID. It is available in different versions, namely CFS-DID 2 HC8, CFS-DID 3 HC8, and CFS-DID 4 HC8. The product is designed for use with hollow core slabs. The slab material can be up to 2 inches thick. The recommended drill/core bit size is 3 inches, and the pipe size is 4 inches. The product also has optional accessories available, such as the CP 680-P/M Water barrier module and the CFS-DID adapter 50/2. Additionally, there is a variation of the product called FS Drop-In Device CFS-DID 2 MD, which is also compatible with hollow core slabs. For users who require top seal plugs, there is an optional CPS top seal plug available specifically for 2 sleeves.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that you have the appropriate version of the FS Drop-In Device CFS-DID based on your requirements (CFS-DID 2 HC8, CFS-DID 3 HC8, or CFS-DID 4 HC8).
- Identify the slab material and ensure it is suitable for use with the product. The slab material should be up to 2 inches thick.
- Use a drill/core bit with a size of 3 inches to create the necessary hole in the slab for installation.
- Select a pipe with a size of 4 inches to be inserted into the hole created in the slab.
- If desired, optional accessories such as the CP 680-P/M Water barrier module or the CFS-DID adapter 50/2 can be used. Follow the respective instructions for these accessories.
- If using the FS Drop-In Device CFS-DID 2 MD, ensure compatibility with hollow core slabs.
- If top seal plugs are required, use the optional CPS top seal plugs specifically designed for 2 sleeves.
