Operate the device only in a dry and dust-free environment, and indoors only. Do not expose the device to unfavourable influences such as humidity, constant sunlight, heat radiation, cold, or vibrations.

ATTENTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not open the housing. The device contains no serviceable parts. Contact service for malfunctions. Work on the power network must be carried out by a qualified electrician only in a de-energized state. The device is not suitable for isolation; the load is not galvanically separated from the mains. Do not use if visibly damaged. Do not connect several WiFi sockets in series. Unplug immediately in case of failures. De-energized only when disconnected.
ATTENTION! RISK OF FIRE! Do not connect end devices whose unsupervised switch-on could cause fire or other damage (e.g., iron). Do not switch the device in an uncontrolled manner or without supervision. Do not use an extension cable. Ensure the socket is installed close to the connected device, easily accessible, and not covered during operation. Avoid overloading the device. Overload may result in fire risk or damage. Maximum load capacity is 3000 W. Do not connect in series.
Intended Use
The WiFi socket is intended solely for switching connected loads on and off in dry indoor areas.
Installation Information / Distance to Interference Sources
This device operates with the 2.4 GHz b/g/n WiFi protocol. Range in buildings can differ significantly from open areas. Environmental influences like humidity and structural conditions play a role, alongside transmission power and receiver properties. Range can be considerably reduced by:
- Walls made of wood, plasterboard, concrete, reinforced concrete
- Proximity to metal and conductive objects
- Broadband interference (e.g., DECT phones, mobile phones, radio headphones, radio speakers, radio weather stations, baby monitoring systems)
- Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power supply units, computers

Device Overview
Features a "Teaching button" with an LED operating display and an ON/OFF button.
LED Status:
- Constantly lit in green: Device is connected to the Internet.
- LED flashes green: Device is in teaching mode.
- LED is lit in red: Device is switched on (ON).
Function
The WiFi socket is part of the brennenstuhl®Connect system, controlled via the brennenstuhl®Connect app. It can be connected directly to the router.
Preparations
Connect the WiFi socket to an easily accessible socket. Ensure the local mains voltage matches the technical data. Before commissioning, check the power consumption of the load to be connected; maximum capacity is 3000 W.
Downloading the App / brennenstuhl®Connect
The WiFi socket is controlled using the brennenstuhl®Connect app, available free of charge from the App Store and Google Play Store. Follow on-screen instructions for download and installation.
Compatible with Google, Apple, and Amazon Alexa.
Commissioning the WiFi Socket
- Start the brennenstuhl®Connect app.
- Use the "+" symbol to add new devices.
- Select the device to install using its article number in the device overview.
- Set the WiFi socket into teaching mode by pressing the teaching button for approximately 3 seconds.
- Follow the app's instructions to connect the WiFi socket to your network.
Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant
The device is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. For Amazon Alexa, download the brennenstuhl®Connect Skill and search for the WiFi socket. For Google Assistant, open the Google Home app, go to "Add" > "Set-up device", and follow the on-screen menu.
Cleaning the Device
ATTENTION! RISK CAUSED BY ELECTRIC SHOCK! Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning. Ensure no liquid penetrates the device, as this can cause a short circuit. Clean with a dry, lint-free cloth. Slightly moisten the cloth for heavy soiling. Do not use solvent-containing detergents, as they may damage the surface and labeling. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Ensure the device is completely dry before next use.
Disposal
Packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials and can be disposed of via local recycling centers. For disposal of the used product, contact your local or municipal administration. To protect the environment, do not dispose of the product with domestic waste; dispose of it properly through collection points. Information on collection points and hours can be obtained from your local administrative authority.
