Note: The Pyramid receiver will flash a red LED light during connection. Once connected to the mouse, it will display a solid white LED light.
For optimal wireless performance, place the Pyramid receiver within 12"-24" of the mouse and away from sources of 2.4GHz interference, such as Wi-Fi routers.
A diagram shows the connection process: USB Type-A port on a computer, connected via USB-C cable to the Pyramid receiver, which then communicates wirelessly with the mouse.
Mouse Sleep Settings
Further customization of sleep settings is available via the StormBreaker Software.
Defaults
- Level 1 Sleep: If no movement or button press is detected for 30 seconds (default), the mouse enters the first level of sleep mode. It wakes up upon any movement or key press.
- Level 2 Sleep: If no movement or button press is detected for 5 minutes, the mouse enters a secondary sleep mode. In this mode, the 2.4GHz connection is disconnected, and the Sensor LED is turned off. Wake up by pressing any key.
Low Power Alert and Charging Display
In wireless mode, the mouse's light indicator will flash red 3 times every 5 seconds when the battery is low. This red flashing stops when the mouse enters a sleep mode.
To charge the mouse: Disconnect the provided cable from the HyperSpeed pyramid receiver and plug it into the mouse. The mouse light indicator will remain a solid red color while charging and will turn off when fully charged.
