DocumentDocumentRAM-5 Quick Start Guide Using The Speed Feed Gun PLEASE REVIEW IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS LOCATED IN OPERATORS MANUAL Proper Startup Essentials * Accessories sold separately 1 Attach the dolly to the base by laying the machine flat and tightening the screws by hand. 2 Thread the guide tube assembly and the air lines on to the side of the machine. Make sure the drain box is vertical. 3 The two air lines need to be connected above the shaft outlet. The air line without the tag on the left, the air line with the "Forward" label on the right. MACHINE MUST LAY FLAT ON DOLLY WHEN IN USE 4 Once the machine is plugged in and the GFCI has been reset, walk the gun assembly out so it is not coiled, feed the cable into the side of the machine and out the guide tube assembly by pulling the trigger on the gun. Do this before the cable has been connected to the manifold and a brush has been attached to the end of the cable. 5 Insert shaft male coupling into shaft manifold then push shaft nut into locking collar to lock in place. 6 Attach a water hose to the machine and turn the water supply on. 7 Attach the brush to the shaft by sliding the quick connect coupling towards the cable and placing the brush into the fitting. Measure out the length of cable you will need and tighten the shaft stop (Note: brush should extend out the back of the HEX tube only as far as the brush stem). Refer to manual for proper length.
