Battery Removal and Disposal (Remote Control)

The remote control uses a lithium button battery. When depleted, remove and recycle the battery according to local regulations. Do not incinerate or compost. Contact local recycling centers for disposal information.

Quick Start Guide

Setting Up Your Fan

Follow these steps to assemble your Shark Fan:

1. Align and insert the Upper Pole into the Lower Pole until it clicks into place.
2. Align the yellow dot on the assembled pole with the yellow dot on the BASE, then slide the pole down onto the base.
3. Insert the BOLT into the bottom of the BASE and twist the HEX KEY clockwise to fasten the pole to the base.
4. Insert the fan post into the top of the ASSEMBLED POLE until it clicks into place. (Caution: risk of finger pinch).
5. Charge the fan to 100% battery before using it without the cord. For first use with the remote, press the POWER BUTTON on the fan.

• OUTDOORS: This fan is water-resistant (IPX4) and can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors.
• LIFT-AWAY: Press the lift-away button and lift the handle to convert the fan from pedestal to tabletop mode.
• BREEZE MODES: Activate breeze modes for a varying airflow that mimics nature.
• OSCILLATION: Select the angle of oscillation (45°, 90°, 180°) to best suit your needs. The remote control can also move the fan head left or right.
• TIMER: Set the timer to automatically turn off the fan (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 hours).
• REMOTE: Store the remote on the back of the fan head when not in use.

How to Use Your Fan

Fan Speeds

Press to switch between fan speeds 1-5. LED lights indicate the selected speed.

• Strong Breeze Mode: (Remote only) Press and hold for 3 seconds.
• Gentle Breeze Mode: (Remote only) Press and hold for 3 seconds.

Oscillation Settings

Press to toggle between oscillation angles: 1 - 45°, 2 - 90°, 3 - 180°. LED lights indicate the selected angle.

Use the remote control to move the fan head left or right.

Timer

(Remote only) Press to switch between timer settings: 1 Hour, 2 Hours, 3 Hours, 4 Hours, 5 Hours. LED lights indicate the set duration. LEDs turn off after 20 seconds; press the timer button again to check remaining time.

Runtime and Charging

• Maximum Cordless Runtime: Up to 24 hours on fan speed 1.
• Maximum Cordless Performance: Up to 2 hours on fan speed 5.
• Plugged In: Indefinite runtime; the fan charges while operating.
• Charge Time: 5 hours from 0% to 100% battery.

Battery Indicator

• 100% charged: White light
• 51%-99%: Green light
• 21%-50%: Amber light
• 6%-20%: Red light steady
• 5% and below: Red light blinking

Tip: The fan works while charging.
