2. Configuration et assemblage
Assembly is required for this dining table. Please ensure all parts are present and undamaged before beginning. Clear instructions, numbered parts, and pre-drilled holes are provided to facilitate the process. A screwdriver is the recommended tool for assembly.

Based on user feedback, it is recommended to adjust the assembly sequence for the pedestal base and decorative surround. First, assemble the pedestal box to the tabletop support box. Then, turn this assembly upside down. Install the grooved slats and doors around the pedestal. Finally, attach the round pedestal base. This sequence helps ensure a more secure fit for the decorative slats and doors.

- Retrieve the extension leaves (Part 3 and 4) from their storage location (if applicable) or from a separate storage area.
- Place the extension leaves into the gap created between the two tabletop halves. Ensure they sit flush and are properly aligned.
- Push the tabletop halves back together until they meet the extension leaves and lock securely into place.
