1. Introduction

1.1 Produit terminéview

The PXN PD HM Sim Racing Pedals are an advanced, all-metal pedal set designed for PC sim racing enthusiasts. Featuring magnetic Hall-effect sensors for precise input, this pedal set offers adjustable throttle, brake, and clutch pedals, along with versatile connectivity options. It is engineered to provide a realistic and customizable racing experience.

1.2 Principales caractéristiques

  • Precision Hall Sensor Technology: Magnetic Hall-effect sensors provide accurate and consistent pedal feedback for all three pedals, ensuring smooth control and improved lap times.
  • Triple connectivité : Supports RJ45 for PXN V99/V10/V12 wheelbases, Type-C for PXN VD series (VD4/VD6/VD10), and USB-A for direct PC connection, allowing standalone use with various racing wheels.
  • Construction entièrement métallique : Constructed from carbon steel and metal alloys for durability and a realistic, mechanical feel. Default resistance levels are approximately 7.94kg for throttle/clutch and 10.42kg for brake, with an optional damper increasing brake force up to 20kg.
  • Conception entièrement réglable : Pedal plates offer multiple mounting positions for fine-tuning height and angle, enabling an ergonomic and immersive driving position.
  • PC Software Customization: Utilize the PXN SIMRACING software to adjust linearity curves, sensitivity levels, and pedal mapping to match specific racing disciplines and driving styles.

The Hall sensor technology ensures precision input with linear, high-sensitivity detection for accurate pedal feedback and instantaneous response. This design minimizes hardware fatigue, ensuring consistent performance even during extended gaming sessions.

2. Configuration et installation

2.1 Contenu du paquet

Please verify that all components are present in the package. The standard package includes the PXN PD HM pedal unit, necessary connection cables (RJ45, Type-C, or USB-A depending on your setup), and one standard brake damping kit. Additional damping kits may be available for separate purchase.

2.2 Installation physique

  1. Placement: Position the pedal unit on a stable surface. For optimal stability, especially during intense racing, consider mounting the pedals to a compatible racing stand or cockpit.
  2. Antidérapant : The pedal unit features an upgraded anti-slip mat with textured surfaces (6 points) to prevent movement on hard floors or carpet. Ensure these are in contact with the floor for maximum grip.

2.3 Options de connectivité

The PXN PD HM pedals offer versatile connection methods:

  • Connexion RJ45 : Use the RJ45 cable to connect the pedals directly to PXN V99, V10, or V12 series wheelbases.
  • Connexion de type C : Use the Type-C cable to connect the pedals to PXN VD series wheelbases (VD4, VD6, VD10).
  • Connexion USB-A : For standalone use with other racing wheel brands or direct PC connection, use the USB-A cable. The pedals will function as a plug-and-play input device.

Assurez-vous que toutes les connexions sont sécurisées avant utilisation.

3. Fonctionnement

3.1 Utilisation de base

Once connected, the pedals are ready for use in compatible sim racing titles. The Hall-effect sensors provide immediate and accurate response to pedal input. Familiarize yourself with the feel of the throttle, brake, and clutch pedals.

3.2 Pedal Adjustments

The PD HM pedals are designed for extensive customization to suit individual preferences and driving styles. Adjustments can be made to:

  • Pedal Tilt: Fine-tune the angle of each pedal to match your preferred driving position.
  • Pedal Height: Raise or lower individual pedals to suit your posture and comfort.
  • Espacement horizontal : Slide each pedal module left or right to achieve ideal spacing between the pedals.
