5. Installation

5.1 Chargement de la batterie

The 20V 2.0Ah Lithium-ion battery should be fully charged before first use. The included 2A fast charger can fully charge the battery in approximately 1 hour.

1. Branchez le chargeur à une prise de courant standard.

5.2 Installation/Retrait de la lame

Always disconnect the battery before installing or removing the blade.

1. Maintenez enfoncé le bouton de verrouillage de l'axe pour empêcher la lame de tourner.

4. Place the new blade onto the spindle, ensuring the teeth are pointing in the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow on the saw and blade.
5. Replace the outer flange and tighten the blade retaining screw firmly with the hex key while holding the spindle lock.

5.3 Attaching Parallel Guide and Vacuum Adapter

• Guide parallèle : Insert the parallel guide into the slot on the front of the saw's base plate and secure it with the locking screw. This helps achieve straight cuts.
• Adaptateur pour aspirateur : Attach the vacuum adapter to the dust port on the saw. Connect a vacuum cleaner hose to the adapter to keep your work area clean and improve cut line visibility.

Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into the saw before operation.

6.1 Mise sous/hors tension

To start the saw, simultaneously press the safety switch (usually a small button near the handle) and then squeeze the main trigger switch. To turn off, release the trigger switch.

6.5 Techniques de coupe

Always ensure the blade is spinning at full speed before engaging with the material. Apply steady, even pressure and allow the saw to do the work. Avoid forcing the saw through the material, as this can lead to kickback or damage to the tool/blade.
