Consignes de sécurité

Always operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from windows and doors, to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. Never operate the generator indoors, including garages or sheds.

  • COSense Technology: This generator is equipped with COSense Technology, which automatically shuts down the engine if hazardous carbon monoxide levels are detected.
  • Arrêt pour niveau d'huile bas : The engine will automatically shut down if the oil level drops below a safe operating threshold, protecting the engine from damage.
  • Disjoncteurs: Integrated AC circuit breakers protect the generator from overload. Reset them by pressing the button after resolving the overload condition.

Installation

1. Déballage et montage

Carefully remove the generator and all components from the packaging. Assembly typically involves attaching the wheels and the easy fold-down handle. Refer to the included assembly guide for detailed steps.

Mode d'emploi

1. Démarrage du générateur

  1. Assurez-vous que le générateur est placé sur une surface plane et que toutes les charges électriques sont déconnectées.
  2. Tournez le robinet d'essence sur la position « ON ».
  3. Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (if starting a cold engine).
  4. For electric start models, press and hold the 'START' button until the engine starts. For manual start, pull the recoil starter handle firmly.
  5. Une fois le moteur démarré, déplacez progressivement le levier de starter en position « MARCHE ».

Entretien

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your generator. Always refer to the complete owner's manual for detailed maintenance schedules and procedures.

  • Changements d'huile : Change the engine oil at recommended intervals, typically after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 50-100 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use the hour meter to track usage.
  • Filtre à air : Inspectez et nettoyez régulièrement le filtre à air. Remplacez-le s'il est endommagé.
  • Bougie d'allumage: Inspect and clean the spark plug annually or every 100 hours. Replace if necessary.
  • Système d'alimentation en carburant : Use a fuel stabilizer if storing the generator for extended periods to prevent fuel degradation.
  • Nettoyage général : Gardez le générateur propre et exempt de débris.
