Installation

- Locate the handle retainer cap on the side opposite to the current handle position.
- Unscrew and remove the handle retainer cap.
- Pull the handle shaft out from the reel body.
- Insert the handle shaft into the desired side of the reel body.
- Securely screw the handle retainer cap back into place on the opposite side to lock the handle.

1. Casting with the Push Button Design

2. Line Retrieval
To retrieve your line, simply turn the handle in the appropriate direction (clockwise for right-hand retrieve, counter-clockwise for left-hand retrieve). The 4.0:1 high-speed gear ratio ensures efficient line pickup.
3. Adjusting the Drag
The drag system controls the amount of resistance the line experiences when a fish pulls on it, preventing line breakage. Your Brutus reel offers 11 lbs of smooth drag.

- Turn the knob clockwise to increase drag tension (more resistance).
