Funktionen: · HDMI 2.1 Splitter Switch zum Betrieb von bis zu 4 Zuspielern an 2 Displays. Das Signal des Zuspielers wird stets auf beide Displays und das angeschlossene Audiosystem übertragen. · Audioausgabe an eine Soundbar mit HDMI-eARC/ARC Anschluss sowie digital über Toslink und analog über 3,5 mm Klinke (AUX). · Unterstützt HDMI-eARC/ARC vom Fernseher, Audioausgabe von TV 1 oder TV 2 wählbar.

Installation und Betrieb
1. Zuspieler verbinden: Schließe 1- 4 HDMI Zuspieler (z.B. Bluray-Player, Apple TV) an die HDMI-Eingänge an. 1
2. Display verbinden: Verbinde 1-2 HDMI Senken (Fernseher, Videoprojektor, Monitor) mit dem HDMI Ausgängen TV OUT1/TV OUT2. 2 Verwende dazu einen mit HDMI-ARC oder HDMI-eARC beschrifteten Eingang am Fernseher, sofern vorhanden.
3. Audio verbinden: Schließe den HDMI-eARC Anschluss deiner Soundbar an den HDMI eARC OUT Anschluss des AX341 an. 3 Verwende bitte zunächst keine App deiner Soundbar zur Installation. Optional kannst du zusätzlich ein optisches (Toslink) 4 oder 3,5 mm AUXKabel 5 verwenden, um den Ton an weitere Soundsysteme auszugeben.
4. Strom anschließen & Geräte einschalten: Verbinde das Netzteil mit dem AX341 und stecke es in eine Steckdose. 6 Schalte dann deinen Fernseher und/oder Videoprojektor ein, anschließend einen der Zuspieler.
5. HDMI-Eingänge wählen: Wähle am Fernseher oder Videoprojektor den HDMI-Eingang, über den der AX341 angeschlossen ist. Und wähle am AX341 den Eingang aus, an dem der Zuspieler betrieben wird. Das Bild des Zuspielers wird nun auf den Displays angezeigt und der Ton über die Soundbar übertragen. Parallel wird der Ton über Toslink (bei Stereo, DTS oder Dolby Digital) und über Klinke (bei Stereo) ausgegeben.
Troubleshooting Bleiben Bild oder Ton aus, oder blinkt die LED TV1 oder TV2, ziehe an allen Geräten den Netzstecker für 1 Minute. Stecke dann zuerst die Stromversorgung von Display und Soundbar wieder ein, dann die des AX341 und anschließend die der Zuspieler.
Achtung: Achte beim Ein- und Ausstecken der HDMI Kabel darauf, dass die Steckerkontakte nicht verschmutzt oder beschädigt werden. Nehme Anschlüsse stromlos vor und schalte die Geräte erst nach dem Verbinden ein. Achte bitte auch auf eine gute Qualität der HDMI-Kabel – insbesondere bei 4k/8K Übertragung.

11 eARC Audio LED: Diese LEDs zeigen dir an, wenn ARC/eARC vom TV aktiv ist und der Ton deines jeweiligen Fernsehers (TV 1 oder TV 2) zu deiner Soundbar oder den Audioausgängen übertragen werden kann. Ist die LED an, sind auch die HDMI-CEC Gerätesteuerung für die Lautstärkeregelung und das automatische Ein-/Ausschalten aktiv. Blinkt die eARC LED, gibt es eine Störung in der CEC-Kommunikation. Das bedeutet, ARC/ eARC funktioniert nicht korrekt oder dein Display unterstützt es nicht vollständig. Auch wenn dein Display ausgeschaltet ist, kann die LED blinken.

13 AUTO-Taste, aktiviert die automatische Eingangsumschaltung. Falls aktiv, wird jeweils auf das zuletzt eingeschaltete Gerät umgeschaltet (funktioniert nicht mit Zuspielern, die sich nicht ausschalten, wie z.B. Apple TV).
14 eARC Taste, schaltet die Funktion TV-Audio via HDMI-eARC und HDMI-CEC-Steuerung für Display 1 oder Display 2 ein oder schaltet es für beide Displays aus. Durch Drücken der eARC Taste für 5 s kann die Auto-Power-Funktion ein- und ausgeschaltet werden.

ARC/eARC vom TV und HDMI-CEC Wenn du einen Fernseher oder Videoprojektor mit HDMI-eARC/ARC Anschluss besitzt, verwende diesen Port zum Verbinden des AX341. Schalte dann eARC für den entsprechenden Anschluss TV OUT1 oder TV OUT2 am AX341 ein. Der gewählte Fernseher ist dann die CEC Steuerzentrale. Dies hat folgende Vorteile:

HDMI-CEC unterstützt und aktiviert wird. · Bei Wiedergabe von TV-Apps oder vom TV-Empfangsteil wird dieser Ton über die Soundbar
und die Audioausgänge abgespielt. (Zeigt der TV das Signal eines externen Zuspielers, wird stattdessen dessen Audiosignal ausgegeben.) · Der Switch kann sich automatisch mit dem Fernseher ein-/ausschalten Die LED eARC TV OUT1 blinkt, wenn TV1 nicht ARC unterstützt, mit einem anderen als dem HDMIARC Port angeschlossen ist oder am TV1 die HDMI-CEC- bzw. ARC-Funktion deaktiviert wurde. Bei Verwendung eines solchen Displays wähle durch erneutes Drücken von eARC das andere Display TV OUT2 aus oder drücke noch einmal eARC am Switch, um die Funktion abzuschalten. Der AX341 kann an jedem Display mit HDMI-Eingang betrieben werden, also auch an einem Computermonitor oder Videoprojektor ohne HDMI-ARC Port. HDMI-CEC-Funktionen wie Lautstärkesteuerung der Soundbar sind dann aber nicht möglich und eARC bleibt ausgeschaltet.
Auto-Switching/Auto Source Bei eingeschalteter Auto-Switching Funktion (die LED Auto leuchtet) wird automatisch auf den zuletzt aktivierten Zuspieler umgeschaltet. Bitte beachte: Manche Zuspieler wie Apple TV oder Xbox schalten sich nicht ganz aus und halten die HDMI-Verbindung. Es kann so beim erneuten Einschalten eines solchen Zuspielers nicht automatisch auf dessen Anschluss geschaltet werden.
Automatisches Ein-/Ausschalten
Wurde eine erfolgreiche Verbindung mit dem HDMI-ARC/eARC-Port des

angeschlossenen Displays aufgebaut und ist am Switch eARC aktiviert,

schalten sich Switch und Soundbar automatisch mit dem Display ein und aus. 4
Diese Auto-Power-Funktion kann durch langes Drücken der eARC Taste für 5 s am 5
AX341 ein- und ausgeschaltet werden.
Fernbedienung

Du kannst den Switch mit der Fernbedienung steuern.
1 Die rote Power-Taste schaltet den Switch ein oder aus.
2 Mit Auto schaltest du die automatische Eingangs-Umschaltung (Auto-Switching) ein oder aus.
3 eARC schaltet HDMI-ARC/eARC zwischen TV1 und TV2 um oder aus.

4 Mit In1 bis In4 kannst du gezielt auf den Zuspieler 1 4 schalten und desen Audio-VideoSignal wiedergeben.
5 Mit der mittleren Taste schaltest du rotierend zum nächsten Zuspieler.
6 Alternativ kannst du mit den Tasten zum vorherigen/nächsten HDMI-Eingang wechseln.
EDID-Schalter und Management Über EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) signalisiert ein per HDMI angeschlossenes Display seine Fähigkeiten (also unterstützte Audio- und Videoformate) an den AX341. Der Zuspieler erhält dann diese Information vom AX341 und gibt das am besten unterstützte Signal aus. Es sollen dadurch nur Formate abgespielt werden, welche verarbeitet werden können. Mit dem EDID-Schalter kannst du davon abweichend einstellen, welche Audio-Video-Formate maximal für deine Konfiguration verwendet werden sollen. Das ist vor allem wichtig, wenn du sehr unterschiedliche Displays oder eine Soundbar verwendest. In der empfohlenen Einstellung ,,111″ wird der Zuspieler das bestmögliche Videoformat ausgeben, welches Display 1 unterstützt. Und außerdem den bestmöglichen Ton, welche eine am AX341 angeschlossene HDMI-eARC/ARC Soundbar unterstützt.

FRL12G ermöglicht eine maximale Datenrate von 48 Gbps (HDMI 2.1 Maximum)
Beachte beim Umstellen des EDID-Schalters, dass manchmal ein Neustart der angeschlossenen Geräte notwendig sein kann. Falls du nicht die gewünschte Ausgabe erzielst, ziehe an allen Geräte für eine Minute die Netzstecker. Stecke dann die Netzstecker ein und schalte die Geräte an. Und war in folgender Reihenfolge: Fernseher, Audiogerät, HDMI-Switch, Zuspieler
Downscaler Um neben einem neuen, hochauflösenden Display ein weiteres mit geringerer Auflösung betreiben zu können, hat der AX341 einen Downscaler. Wenn der Zuspieler so eingestellt ist, dass er ein 4K Bild an TV OUT1 liefert, kann ohne manuelle Einstellung auch ein 1080p Bild an ein Full-HD Display an Ausgang TV OUT2 übertragen werden. Die eingestellte Bildrate wird nicht verändert.

Wichtig dabei: Der Downscaler reduziert ausschließlich die Auflösung, jedoch nicht die Bildwiederholfrequenz. Wird zum Beispiel ein 4K-Signal (3840 x 2160 Pixel) mit 120 Hz auf ein 1080p-Signal (1920 x 1080 Pixel) herunterskaliert, bleibt die Frequenz von 120 Hz bestehen. Eine automatische Reduktion auf 60 Hz erfolgt nicht. Wenn ein angeschlossenes Display also nur 60 Hz unterstützt, kann es daher zu Kompatibilitätsproblemen oder ganz ausbleibender Bilddarstellung kommen. Für die optimale Nutzung des Downscalers sollten die angeschlossenen Bildquellen also die selben Bildwiederholfrequenzen unterstützen – so kann das Signal problemlos skaliert werden, ohne die Bildqualität zu verschlechtern.
Es wird nur von den 16:9 Auflösungen 2160p und 4320p herunter skaliert. 1440p wird dagegen nicht skaliert.
Audioformate Das Audiosignal vom Zuspieler (auch das vom Fernseher, falls dieser HDMI-eARC /ARC verwendet) wird prinzipiell an alle Ausgänge zugleich verteilt. Toslink und Klinkenanschluss übertragen aber keine höheren Audioformate und bleiben dann stumm. Folgende Formate unterstützen die Anschlüsse:

Du kannst das genaue Audioformat häufig am Zuspieler einstellen. Wenn du ,,Stereo” wählst, sollten alle Ausgänge Ton ausgeben können. Wenn du Ton von TV-Apps/Empfangstuner über HDMI-ARC oder HDMI-eARC über den AX341 ausgibst, lässt sich auch am Fernseher das Audioformat einstellen. Zur Ausgabe von analogem Stereoton über Klinke muss am Fernseher das Audioformat auf ,,PCM” eingestellt werden.
HDMI-Kabel Beachte, dass die Kabellänge umso kritischer wird, je höher die Datenrate des AV-Signals ist. Dies liegt daran, dass der Bandbreiten-Bedarf steigt und höhere Frequenzen genutzt werden. Je höher eine Frequenz ist, desto stärker wird sie im Kabel gedämpft. Bei einer 8K Auflösung oder 4k 120Hz empfehlen wir maximal 2 m Kabellänge an den Eingängen und Ausgängen. Falls du längere Reichweiten benötigst, kannst du spezielle HDMI-Kabel mit Glasfaser-Datenleitungen oder aktive Kabel benutzen. Bei 4K 60Hz können die Kabel bis zu 5 m lang sein, bei Full-HD bis zu 15 m. Bitte beachte, dass eine Tonübertragung über eARC nur bis maximal 10 m Gesamtlänge zuverlässig ist. Die Soundbar sollte also nicht weit entfernt vom Switch aufgestellt werden.

Bitte informiere dich über aktuelle Entsorgungswege bei deinem Händler oder einer kommunalen Entsorgungseinrichtung / Recyclinghof.
Entsorgung des Gerätes Altgeräte sind kein wertloser Abfall. Durch umweltgerechte Entsorgung können wertvolle Rohstoffe wieder gewonnen werden. Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden.

3. Connect audio: Connect the HDMI eARC connection of your soundbar to the HDMI eARC OUT connection of the AX341. 3 Please do not use your soundbar’s app for installation at first. Optionally, you can also use an optical (Toslink) 4 or 3.5 mm AUX-cable 5 to output the sound to other sound systems.
4. Connect power & switch on devices: Connect the power adapter to the AX341 and plug it into a socket. 6 Then switch on your TV and/or video projector, then one of the players.
5. Select HDMI inputs: On the TV or video projector, select the HDMI input via which the AX341 is connected. And on the AX341, select the input to which the player is connected. The picture from the player is now shown on the displays and the sound is transmitted via the soundbar. At the same time, the sound is output via Toslink (for stereo, DTS or Dolby Digital) and via jack (for stereo).
Troubleshooting If there is no picture or sound, or if the LED TV1 or TV2 flashes, unplug all devices from the mains for 1 minute. Then reconnect the power supply to the display and soundbar first, then to the AX341 and then to the players.
Caution: When connecting and disconnecting the HDMI cables, ensure that the plug contacts are not soiled or damaged. Make de-energised connections and only switch on the devices after connecting them. Please also ensure that the HDMI cables are of good quality – especially for 4k/8K transmission.

This means that ARC/eARC is not working correctly or your display does not fully support it. The LED may flash also if your display is switched off.

13 AUTO button, activates automatic input switching. If active, the system switches to the device that was last powered on (does not work with players that do not switch off, e.g. Apple TV).
14 eARC button, switches the TV audio function via HDMI eARC and HDMI CEC control on for display 1 or display 2 or switches it off for both displays. The Auto Power function can be switched on and off by pressing the eARC button for 5 seconds.

ARC/eARC from TV and HDMI-CEC If you have a TV or video projector with HDMI-eARC/ARC connection, use this port to connect the AX341. Then switch on eARC for the corresponding TV OUT1 or TV OUT2 connection on the AX341. The selected TV is then the CEC control centre. This has the following advantages:
· You can control the soundbar volume with this TV remote control · You can control the soundbar volume with the player remote control if HDMI-CEC is supported
and activated there. · When playing TV apps or from the TV receiver, this sound is played via the soundbar and the
audio outputs. (If the TV shows the signal from an external player, its audio signal is output instead). · The AX341 can switch on/off automatically with the TV The eARC TV OUT1 LED flashes if TV1 does not support ARC, is connected to a port other than the HDMI ARC port or the HDMI CEC or ARC function has been deactivated on TV1. When using such a display, select the other display TV OUT2 by pressing eARC again or press eARC again on the AX341 to switch off the function. The AX341 can be operated on any display with an HDMI input, i.e. also on a computer monitor or video projector without an HDMI ARC port. However, HDMI-CEC functions such as volume control of the soundbar are then not possible and eARC should remain switched off.
Auto-Switching/Auto Source When the Auto-Switching function is switched on (the Auto LED lights up), the system automatically switches to the last activated player. Please note: Some players such as Apple TV or Xbox do not switch off completely and maintain the HDMI connection. It is therefore not possible to automatically switch to the connection of such a player when it is switched on again.
Automatic Power on/off If a successful connection has been established with the HDMI ARC/eARC port of the connected display and eARC is activated on the switch, the switch and soundbar power on and off automatically with the display. This auto power

function can be switched on and off by pressing and holding the eARC button

Remote Control You can control the switch with the remote control.
1 The red power button switches the AX341 on or off.
2 Use Auto to set the automatic input switching (auto-switching) on or off.

4 With In1 to In4, you can switch specifically to players 14 and play their audio-video signal.

EDID Switch and Management A display connected via HDMI uses EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) to signal its capabilities (i.e. supported audio and video formats) to the AX341. The player then receives this information from the AX341 and outputs the best supported signal. The intention is that only formats that can be processed should be played. You can use the EDID dip switch to set the maximum audio/video formats to be used for your configuration. This is particularly important if you are using very different displays or a soundbar. In the recommended setting `111′, the player will output the best possible video format that Display 1 supports. And also the best possible sound, which is supported by an HDMI eARC/ARC soundbar connected to the AX341.

When changing the EDID dip switches, please note that it may sometimes be necessary to restart the connected devices. If you do not achieve the desired output, unplug all devices from the mains for one minute. Then plug in the mains plugs and switch on the devices. And in the following order: TV, audio device, HDMI switch, player
Downscaler The AX341 has an automatic downscaler so that another display with a lower resolution can be operated alongside a new, high-resolution display. If the player is set to supply a 4K picture to TV OUT1, a 1080p picture can also be transmitted to a Full HD display at output TV OUT2 without manual adjustment. The set frame rate is not changed.
Important: The downscaler only reduces the resolution, but not the refresh rate. If, for example, a 4K signal (3840 x 2160 pixels) with 120 Hz is downscaled to a 1080p signal (1920 x 1080 pixels), the frequency of 120 Hz remains. There is no automatic reduction to 60 Hz. If a connected display only supports 60 Hz, this can lead to compatibility problems or a complete lack of picture display. For optimum use of the downscaler, the connected picture sources should therefore support the same refresh rates – this way the signal can be scaled without any problems and without impairing the picture quality. It is only scaled down from the 16:9 resolutions 2160p and 4320p. 1440p, on the other hand, is not scaled.

Audio Formats The audio signal from the player (also from the TV if HDMI-eARC/ARC is used) is generally distributed via all outputs simultaneously. However, Toslink and the audio jack connection do not transmit higher audio formats and remain muted. The connections support the following formats:

You can often set the exact audio format on the player. If you select `Stereo’, all outputs should be able to output sound. If you output sound from TV apps/internal tuner via HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC through the AX341, the audio format can also be adjusted on the TV. To output analogue stereo sound via a jack, the audio format on the TV must be set to `PCM’.
HDMI Cable Note that the higher the data rate of the AV signal, the more critical the cable length becomes. This is because the bandwidth requirement increases and higher frequencies are used. The higher a frequency is, the more it is attenuated in the cable. For an 8K resolution or 4k 120Hz we recommend a maximum of 2 m cable length at the inputs and the output. If you need longer distances, you can use special HDMI cables with fibre optic data lines or active cables. For 4K 60Hz, the cables can be up to 5 m long, for Full-HD up to 15 m. Please note that a reliable transmission of eARC Audio is only possible up to 10 m total cable length.
