- Remove the WV450X strobe if not already done, retaining the
wall anchor screws. - Position the mounting plate based on Figure 1 and secure it to
the surface using existing strobe mounting hardware. - Refer to the G-Series manual for wiring instructions.

This adapter kit allows replacement of an WV450X Flameproof Strobe with a G-Series Strobe or LED Ex d using the existing wall mounting holes.
NOTE: The mounting kit is not designed to work with Ex de surface mount units.

SHOCK HAZARD — The G-Series Strobe or LED is
intended for use in hazardous areas. Before commencing
installation, ensure that the wiring is disconnected at the
main terminal and that the area is safe.

Installation
To install the unit:.
1. Remove the WV450X strobe if that action has not been performed already. Retain the wall anchor screws.
NOTE: New screws or mounting anchors are not provided in this kit.
