3.1. Station Placement

Choose an open area with good Wi-Fi signal for the base station. Ensure there are no objects within 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front of the station and 5 centimeters (2 inches) on each side. It is recommended to install the base station on a tiled or masonry floor to prevent damage to carpets or solid wood floors during mop cleaning cycles.

3.2. Initial Robot Preparation

1. Connect the power cable to the base station and turn on the power switch. A light indicator will confirm successful connection.

3. Remove all protective films from the robot's top cover and sensors. Ensure all protective bands are removed to avoid operational issues.

• Open the MOVAhome app. If it's your first time, register using your mobile number or email.
• After logging in, add your robot to the device list by scanning the QR code on the robot or manually adding it from the model list.
• Follow the in-app guide to connect to Wi-Fi. Note that only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported. If your router uses a mixed 2.4GHz/5GHz network (e.g., "Smart Connect" on TP-LINK), ensure the 2.4GHz band is enabled.

• Keep the robot and your phone close to the router during connection. The Wi-Fi indicator on the robot will light up upon successful connection.
• After connection, navigate to "Me" (bottom right) then "Settings" (top right) to verify the app version is the latest.

4.1. First-Time Mapping

Before the first mapping, clear the surrounding area and remove any fragile or unfixed objects. You can choose "Quick Mapping" to rapidly scan the environment and generate a map, or simply start a full cleaning by pressing "Clean" to build a map during the cleaning process.

Ensure the robot starts and returns to the station during its first mapping process. Do not move the robot or the station during this process to avoid mapping failures.

4.2. Map Customization

On the map page, you can modify the map and special zones such as furniture, carpets, virtual walls, and restricted zones. If you have pets, you can add "Pet Supplies" to the map to enable smarter cleaning strategies around pet areas.

You can zoom and move the pet supplies you've defined on the map, then click the top right checkmark to save. If the automatically generated cleaning sequence doesn't meet your needs, customize it by clicking "Cleaning Sequence".

4.3. Multi-Floor Management

If your home has multiple floors, click "Multi-floor Map Management" to add a multi-floor map. The multi-floor cleaning function requires creating an independent map for each floor. Move the robot to the designated floor when it is in standby mode (not cleaning); it is not necessary to move the base station.

Click "Quick Mapping" to start cleaning directly or use quick mapping. The robot will create a map of the floor, then return to the starting position once mapping is complete.

4.4. Cleaning Settings

Return to the homepage, click the water drop icon, then enter the "CleanGenius" page and the "Customize" page.

Click "Customize" to adjust the cleaning mode, suction power, mop humidity, and more. You can also define personalized suction and cleaning preferences for each zone by clicking "Customize room cleaning".

Go to the device homepage and click the ellipsis icon (top right) for more settings. This includes "Floor Cleaning Settings".

You can activate the "Wider Edge and Corner Coverage" option. Once activated, the robot pivots to clean edges and corners, improving cleaning coverage.

In "CleanGenius" mode, the robot automatically lifts the mop and vacuums when it encounters carpets. You can also adjust the carpet cleaning mode as desired in "Carpet Settings".

You can also go to "Settings", select "More Functions", and enable or disable "DND Mode", "Off-peak Charging", "Resume Cleaning", and "Child Lock". You can also control your robot using the "Remote Control" feature.

5.1. Automatic Maintenance

The MOVA E30 Ultra features automatic dust collection and mop self-cleaning. Return to the device homepage and click "Station Dock" in the bottom right corner. You can adjust the station settings here. Note that a noise may occur during high-speed rotation of the mop pads during cleaning; this is normal.

5.2. Manual Mop Cleaning

To activate mop cleaning during the cleaning process, you can manually move the robot to the station to trigger mop cleaning, then return it to its previous location (within 15 minutes) to resume cleaning.
