Product Usage Instructions
Common Functions:
- Lock: Tap to arm the alarm (if equipped).
- Unlock: Tap to disarm the alarm (if equipped).
- Remote Start/Stop: Tap within 5 seconds to start or stop the engine. Hold for 2 seconds for Run Time Extend.
- Trunk Release: Hold for 2 seconds to release the trunk. The system will also disarm/unlock by default.
- Panic: Hold for 2 seconds to trigger the panic alarm or arm the alarm if equipped.
- Lock w/o Arm: Tap within 5 seconds to lock without arming the alarm. Useful when the alarm is not desired.
- Silent Lock/Unlock: Tap within 5 seconds to arm the alarm silently (if equipped).
- Sensor Bypass: Tap within 5 seconds to temporarily ignore sensors until the alarm is armed again.
Emergency Alarm Override:
- Access your programming/valet button located on the antenna or the dashboard.
- Enter the vehicle – the alarm will sound.
- Turn the ignition ON without starting the engine.
- Enter your override code by tapping the programming/valet button within 10 seconds.
- If correct, the alarm will pause and disarm after entering the correct code.
Replacing Remote Battery:
- Excalibur 1-way remote batteries last up to 2 years.
- Note remote part # and battery type on the back of the remote.
- Pop open the remote using the notch near the keyring to replace the battery.

EMERGENCY ALARM OVERRIDE
IMPORTANT: You will need to access your programming/valet button. It is built into your antenna or mounted in the dash. If you are unsure, contact your installer or Omega customer support. There is no way to disarm the alarm without this or a functioning remote.

STEPS
- Enter the vehicle, and the alarm will sound.
TIME RESTRICTION: Perform the following steps within 10 seconds - Turn the ignition ON with the key (do not start the engine).
- Enter your override code by tapping the programming/valet button.
- The default code is 01. It can be set for 01-99 (see feature programming guide or use LINKR-MOBILE app – additional parts required).
- If your override code is 11-99, each digit is entered in 2 steps of 1-9 presses.
- Enter the 1st digit. If correct, the alarm will pause, and the siren/horn will chirp once.
- Enter the 2nd digit. If correct, the alarm will disarm.
