Sleep Mode
The Ev080 is designed for energy efficiency, operating exclusively in wireless modes. Upon establishing a connection, the device enters a low-power sleep mode after three minutes of inactivity During this initial stage, the keyboard’s LEDs are deactivated, but a single key press will promptly awaken the keyboard, which will then be recognized by the connected device. In the event of a disconnection—such as when a PC is powered off or if the wireless dongle is removed—the Ev080 will initiate a search for the paired device. Should it fail to reconnect after 20 seconds of unsuccessful attempts, the Ev080 will transition into a deep sleep mode. In this state, the LEDs remain off, and key presses will not trigger any device response until the keyboard is reconnected or re-paired.
