Setup Instructions
When using a compatible motherboard (EAC230904165/EAC230904166) to match TDi Pro series products, no modifications are required. However, if you intend to use them to match Decades or Decades Extreme series products, please follow the steps below for setup:
Step 1: Dip Switch Setting
Set the dip switch of the pressure switch to the ON position (upper position). Leave the HPS (high pressure switch) terminal empty. Note that the Decades and Decades Extreme series do not have the HPS.
The yellow-colored HPS port does not require any wiring.
Diagram Description: A close-up view shows a dip switch labeled 'SW0'. The 'ON' position, which is the upper position, should be selected. The HPS port is visible and noted as not requiring wiring.
Step 2: Motherboard Replacement and Power-up
Follow the standard steps for replacing the motherboard components. Power on the outdoor unit and keep it in standby mode (do not send any startup commands). Ensure proper wiring of the motherboard before system power-up.
Step 3: n18 Setting Adjustment
Change the n18 setting from 3 to 1 (for Decades models) or 2 (for Decades Extreme models).
Diagram Description: A circuit board with a digital display and control buttons (BS1, BS2, BS3, BS4) is shown. The setup process is as follows:
- Hold BS1 for 5 seconds to enter the settings menu.
- Press BS2 to navigate and select the 'n18' setting.
- Press BS3 to confirm entry into the 'n18' setting value.
- Press BS2 to select the desired value: 1 for Decades series, or 2 for Decades Extreme series.
- Press BS3 to confirm the selected value.
- Press BS1 to exit the settings menu.
- Press BS3 to return to the previous operation screen.
Step 4: Operational Check
After completing the above setup, please perform a normal operational check on the device to ensure it is running properly.
