PREPARATION

Disassembly and Installation

  1. Open the package.
  2. Take out the TV.
  3. Install the TV stands.
  4. Connect the power cord.

Read all of the instructions before operating the set. Keep these instructions well for later use.

Important Safety Instructions

Positioning the TV

Install the device on a solid, horizontal surface such as a table or desk. For ventilation, leave a space of at least 10cm all around the set. To prevent any injuries or unsafe situations, please do not place any objects on top of the set. This device can be used in tropical and/or moderate climates. Fix the rear enclosure to wall (only for some countries).

Wall-hanging bracket

An optional wall mount can be used with your television. Consult with your local retailer to purchase the recommended wall mount bracket. Carefully attach the wall mount bracket at the rear of the TV. Install the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. If you are attaching the TV to other building materials, please contact qualified personnel to install the wall mount. Detailed instructions will be included with the wall mount. Please use a wall mount bracket where the device is adequately secured to the wall with enough space to allow connectivity to external devices.

Note:

  1. The pictures are for reference only.
  2. For the TV sets with terminals towards the wall, in order to leave enough space to use the terminals, a gasket is needed together with each screw to fix the wall mount. It is a small hollow pillar whose internal diameter is 8mm, external diameter is 18mm and height is 30 mm.

Precautions for using battery

Install Remote Control Battery

Place two AAA size batteries in the remote control's battery compartment, making sure to match the polarity markings inside the compartment.

  1. Turn on the TV: In standby mode, short press the TV button to turn on the TV.
  2. Soft keyboard function: After turning on the TV, short press the TV button to display the following soft keyboard at the bottom of the screen. Short press the TV button to select the item you want. Long press the TV button to enter the item you have selected.

⬆️/⬇️ Down/Up Change to previous or next channel in TV mode. Move down or up to select an item in menu settings.
⬅️/➡️ Left/Right Decrease or increase the sound volume in TV mode. Move left or right to select an item in menu settings.
Main Menu Access the main menu settings.
⏏️ Source Access the interface of input source.
Standby Turn the TV standby.

REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS

1 POWER ⏻ Turn the TV on or standby.
2 MUTE ? Mute or restore the sound.
3 P.MODE Select the picture mode.
4 ASPECT Select the aspect ratio.
5 S.MODE Select the sound mode.
6 Number Buttons (0~9) Choose the channel directly, or input a number.
7 BACK ↩️ Return to the previously-viewed channel.
8 TV/RADIO Switch between TV and Radio modes.
9 MENU ☰ Access the main menu.
10 SOURCE ⏏️ Select the input source.
11 OK ✔️ Confirm, enter or execute the selection.
12 Navigation Buttons (⬆️/⬇️/⬅️/➡️) Navigate the menu to select what you need.
13 EXIT ❌ Exit the current screen or operation.
14 INFO ℹ️ Show the detailed information of current program.
15 AUDIO Select the audio mode or audio language if available.
16 GUIDE ? Access the interface of Electronic Program Guide.
17 Volume Up/Down (VOL +/-) Adjust the sound volume.
18 Program Up/Down (PR +/-) Change programs.
19 Color Buttons (RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE) Execute the prompt function in specific mode.
20 SUBTITLE Select the subtitle language if available.
21 SLEEP ? Setup the sleep timer to turn off the TV automatically.
22 AD Turn on or turn off the function of audio description in DTV mode.
23 MEDIA ▶️ Switch to the Media source.
24 FREEZE ❄️ Freeze or unfreeze the picture on the screen, and it's not available in USB mode.
25 REC & Teletext Buttons & Media Play Control Buttons
  • REC: (May not be available) Start to record the currently-viewed DTV program.
  • Teletext Buttons (May not be available)
    • TEXT: Enter or exit the teletext menu.
    • INDEX: Display the index page.
    • CANCEL: Return to the TV program temporarily while searching for a teletext page.
    • SIZE: Enlarge the teletext page.
    • REVEAL: Display or hide the concealed teletext information.
    • HOLD: Hold or release the telletext page.
    • SUBPAGE: Enter or exit the subpage if available.
  • Media Play Control Buttons
    • REPEAT: Setup the repeat mode.
    • PLAY/PAUSE ▶️/⏸️: Play or pause the playback, or (may not be available)enable the timeshift function in DTV mode for some models.
    • STOP ⏹️: Stop the playback.
    • A-B: Setup A-B repeat mode.
    • PREVIOUS ⏪: Skip to the previous file.
    • NEXT ⏩: Skip to the next file.
    • Fast Backward ⏪: Fast reverse the playback.
    • Fast Forward ⏩: Fast forward the playback.
26 Favorite Buttons (FAV/FAV-/FAV+)
  • FAV: Access the favorite list, or add/remove the selected program to/from the favorite list in the setting of Programme Edit.
  • FAV-: Change to the previous favorite program.
  • FAV +: Change to the next favorite program.
