Heath Zenith Wireless Plug-In Chime

Installation Instructions

This package includes a wireless plug-in chime and push button. The style of the push button and chime may vary from the illustration.

  1. Plug in the wireless chime. Ensure the power unit is oriented correctly in its vertical mount position. The plug is designed to fit the power outlet only as recommended by the manufacturer. Do not attempt to reverse the plug; this is a safety feature. If the plug does not insert fully, contact an electrician to replace the outlet.
  2. Test range. Temporarily position the push button where you intend to mount it. Press the push button to verify that the chime sounds and the push button works properly. If the chime does not sound, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
  3. Mount the push button. You can use either screws or double-sided tape for mounting.
    • Screw Mounting: Remove the back of the case by inserting a small screwdriver into the slot on the top or bottom of the push button and twisting. Remove any material in the screw holes if needed before mounting. Attach the back of the case to the door jamb or wall. Snap the front of the push button into place.
    • Tape Mounting: Ensure the surface of the door jamb or wall is clean before attaching the push button with double-sided tape.
