What to Do If the Galaxy Buds Do Not Connect Properly
If you experience connection issues with your Galaxy Buds+, review the solutions below. If problems persist, visit a Samsung Service Center for further assistance.
Check to See If You Have Fully Charged Your Earbuds
- It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first-time use or after extended periods of non-use. A minimum of 30 minutes is required for the initial charge or after complete discharge.
- To charge, insert the earbuds into their corresponding slots and connect the charger.
- The charging case, with its built-in battery, charges along with the earbuds inside. Ensure wing tips or ear tips are attached correctly to allow the charging case to close properly.
Please note: Do not charge the earbuds using a power source such as a computer or notebook, as this can cause slower charging.

Check the Bluetooth Connection of Your Galaxy Buds+ and Your Mobile Device
Earbuds Can't Be Searched on Your Mobile Device:
- Close the charging case and open it again to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Ensure your earbuds and the other Bluetooth device are within the Bluetooth connection range (approximately 10m or 32ft). This distance may vary based on the environment.
Earbuds Can't Connect to Bluetooth:
- Your Galaxy Buds+ will exit Bluetooth pairing mode after 3 minutes. Re-insert the earbuds into the case and open it again to re-enter pairing mode.
You can also manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode by tapping the touchpad, then tapping and holding the Galaxy Buds+.
Ensure the mobile device is within 10m or 32ft of the Galaxy Buds+ during pairing. Check for obstacles like walls or electrical equipment between devices. Restart your mobile device and relaunch the Galaxy Wearable app.
If only a single earbud connects, restart both earbuds.

Check If You Need to Restart Your Earbuds
If connection issues persist after trying the methods above, reset the Galaxy Buds+.
- To reset and restart, insert each earbud into its corresponding slot in the charging case.
- Remove them from the case after approximately 7 seconds or more.
Please note: If the charging case has low battery, connect it to the charger first.
How to Improve Audio Quality of the Galaxy Buds
If you notice a deterioration in sound quality after using your Galaxy Buds for a while, cleaning them may resolve the issue. Poor audio quality can also result from an interrupted wireless connection due to the service provider's network. Keep the earphones away from electromagnetic waves. Ensure your Galaxy Buds and the other Bluetooth device are within the maximum Bluetooth range (10 meters), noting that distance may vary depending on the environment.
