SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. - All safety instructions must be closely followed when using
the appliance. - When using electrical and electronic appliances, basic
precautions must always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury. - This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understandthe hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children. - Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.
This symbol means "caution, hot surface."
- The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in operation.
- This appliance is not intendedto be operatedby means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electricalconnections to water.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Position the appliance in such a way to avoid spillage of hot liquids. Be especially careful with the handle.

- Make sure the voltage of your mains supply matches the voltage requirements specified in the rating label of the appliance.
- We recommend that the room where you intend to use the appliance is equipped with a working kitchen hood or is well ventilated.
- Incorrect or improper use can damage the appliance and be dangerous for the user. Use the device only for the purposes described in this manual.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains supply before moving it, carrying out any cleaning or maintenance task, or when not in use.
- Do not use outdoors. - Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the
cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger. - Do not twist, bend, pull, ordamage the power cable. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow the cable to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop. - Do not use extension cords, unless advised by a qualified electrician. Using the wrong type of extension cable could cause damage to the appliance or injuries to the user. - Do not use the appliance if its cable, plug, or housing are damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any way. - The appliance should not be used in potentially dangerous locations, such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden, or wet atmospheres. - Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface. Be careful when placing the basket out of the air fryer. Place the handle inwards to prevent spillage of what's inside. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or combustible materials.

- Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings, as it could cause electrical shock or fire.
- Do not fill the basket with oil to avoid causing a fire hazard. - Do not touch the interior of the appliance while in operation. - Always place the ingredients to be cooked inside the basket
to prevent them from touching the heating elements. - Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or
switching on the appliance. - U nplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use or
when it is being cleaned. Allow it to cool down completely before attaching or removing parts and before cleaning the appliance. - Do not leave the appliance unsupervised while plugged to the mains. - Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make sure the appliance operates properly. - Do not place the appliance against the wall. Leave a safety distance of 10 cm on the back of the appliance and 10 cm on each side. Do not place any object on top of the appliance when in use. - Hot steam is released through the air outlet openings of the appliance during operation. Keep your hands and face at a safety distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings. Hot air may come out when removing the basket from inside the appliance. - Unplug the appliance immediately if you notice black smoke coming out of it. Wait until the smoke disappears to remove the basket from the appliance. - We recommend the use of gloves when touching the basket and rack.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately
- Remove all packaging material and labels from the inside and outside of the air fryer. Check that there is no packaging material left in the basket.
- You will receive the air fryer with the basket placed inside. Place the fryer on a clean, flat surface.
- Clean the rack and basket with soap and hot water. - Do not immerse the main unit in water. Clean the outside of the air fryer with a soft, damp
cloth. Dry all parts of the fryer thoroughly. - To ensure that the basket fits correctly in the fryer, 4 rubber feet have been fitted. If they
come loose, replace them as shown in figure 2. Fig. 2

3. OPERATION

1. When the appliance is connected to the mains, press the power icon to switch on the appliance or to enter standby mode.
2. When the fryer is switched on, use the main knob to select your preferred mode by turning left or right as required. The corresponding indicator light will flash. Then, press Start/ Pause to start the mode.
3. When the selected cooking process is finished, the fryer will beep and enter standby mode again. In case you want to cancel the process, you can use the stop/cancel icon.
NOTE: press the time icon to set the desired time. Once you have set the time, press the icon again to confirm the setting. If no operation is performed for 5 seconds, the selected time will be confirmed automatically. At this point, the indicator light will light up steadily. Each time you turn the knob to the right, time will increase by 1 minute. Each time you turn it to the left, time will decrease by 1 minute.
NOTE: when you press this icon, it will flash, and you will be able to set the desired temperature. Once you have set the temperature, press the icon again to confirm the setting. If no operation

is performed for 5 seconds, the selected temperature will be confirmed automatically. At this point, the indicator light will light up steadily. Each time you turn the knob to the right, the temperature will increase by 1 degree. Each time you turn it to the left, the temperature will decrease by 1 degree.
Manual mode Press the manual mode icon to activate manual mode. This way, you can set the time and temperature values. The settings you make in this mode will be recorded so that you can use them again next time you select it.
Sound On/ Off This icon will be on by default, but you can turn it off at any time. - The fryer will beep when switched on and off. - A beep will sound each time an icon is pressed. - The fryer will beep 5 times when the cooking time has elapsed.
Smoke mode Cecofry Smokin' Duo 6000 has a preset mode for smoking food. It is directly intended for meat. To use it, follow the instructions below:
1. Open the basket and place the wood chips in the base of the basket.
NOTE: in the central part of the basket, there is an edge that outlines a rectangle, leaving a small gap. Add the chips, five or six chips should be enough, and place the rack on top.
NOTE: remember to moisten the chips about thirty minutes beforehand by soaking them in a glass of water. The steam generated by the chips during heating will flavour the food during cooking.
2. Before placing the food, start the programme by pressing the main Start/Pause knob. The fryer will heat the chips for 2 minutes using the lower heating element. It will then beep to let you know that is time to add the food.
3. After the initial two minutes of heating, add the meat and close the basket. You will have to let it cook for 4 minutes.
4. After four minutes, the fryer will beep again for you to turn the meat over. After that, you will have to let it cook for another 4 minutes.
NOTE: for this mode, you can select three time ranges: 10, 12 and 14 minutes. The first time range, 10 minutes, is the one described above. In the second time range, 12 minutes, the fryer will perform the 2-minute heating but there will be two 5-minute cooking intervals. Next, in the third time range, 14 minutes, the fryer will perform the initial 2-minute heating and then it will perform 6 minutes of cooking for both intervals.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the fryer. Remove the basket. Make sure that both the basket and rack have cooled down completely before cleaning. To remove the rack from the basket, grasp it by the centre hole.
2. Clean the rack and basket with soap and hot water. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive products to clean these parts. Doing so may damage the non-stick surface.
3. The basket and rack are dishwasher safe. For best results, place these parts on top of the dishwasher.
4. Clean the outside of the air fryer with a soft cloth.
Storage instructions 1. Before storing the fryer, make sure that it is unplugged and that all parts are clean and dry. 2. Do not store it if it is hot or damp. 3. Store the fryer in its original box or in a clean, dry place.

5. TROUBLESHOO TING
Problem
The fryer is not working
Cause
It is not plugged in.
No time or temperature has been set and manual mode has been selected.
Food is not fully cooked
The basket is not in place.
There is too much food in the basket.
The temperature selected is too low.
Cooking time is too short.
Food is not fried equally in the air fryer
Some ingredients may require stirring during the cooking process.
It is not possible to put the basket back into the fryer
There is too much food in the basket.
The basket of the fryer is not positioned correctly.
White smoke comes out of the appliance
You are cooking food with a high oil content.
Old oil stains remain in the fryer.
Solution
Connect the plug to a mains socket. Set the time and temperature and press the Start/Pause push button.
Insert the basket. Redistribute the food in the basket or add a smaller amount.
Set the desired temperature.
Set the timer for the required cooking time.
If some foods are on top or overlap with others (such as French fries), it is necessary to turn them over while cooking.
Food in the basket of the fryer must not exceed 4/5 of its volume.
Place the basket in the fryer until you hear the "click".
When cooking foods with a high oil content, the fryer will be hotter than normal and white smoke will come out of the fryer. But this will not affect the cooking of the food.
Make sure that the fryer is properly cleaned after use.

Chips do not fry equally well in the air fryer Fried desserts are not crispy.
Chips fries are not properly immersed in water before frying.
You have not used the right potatoes
Chips made with an air fryer are not crispy
The oil and water contents are not adequate.
Soak the chips for at least 30 minutes, remove them and drain the water on a kitchen towel.
Use fresh potatoes and make sure they do not fall out of the basket when frying.
Adding a little oil can make the fries crispier. Be sure to drain the water well before adding oil. Cutting chips thinner can make them crispier.
