MIUI
The Redmi Note 9 comes pre-installed with MIUI, Xiaomi's customized Android-based OS. MIUI offers frequent updates and user-friendly features based on feedback from over 200 million active users worldwide.

Device Overview
The device features a display with a front camera cutout. On the right side, you will find the Volume Buttons and the Power Button.
The bottom of the device has a USB Type-C Port.
SIM Card Tray
The SIM card tray supports two Nano-SIM cards and one Micro SD card.
About Dual SIM:
- Dual 4G SIM is offered by select telecom operators and may not be available in all regions.
- The device supports dual nano-SIM cards. Either card can be set as the primary card when both SIM slots are in use.
- VoLTE is supported by telecom operators in certain regions.
- The system may update automatically for optimal network performance. Refer to the system version in use on the device for details.
- Do not insert non-standard SIM cards into the SIM card slot, as they may damage the slot.

- Use of unauthorized cables, power adapters, or batteries may cause fire, explosion, or other risks. Use only authorized accessories compatible with your device.
- The device's operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C. Using the device outside this range may cause damage.
- If your device has a built-in battery, do not attempt to replace it yourself to avoid damaging the battery or the device.
- Charge the device only with the included or authorized cable and power adapter. Using other adapters may cause fire, electric shock, and damage.
- After charging, disconnect the adapter from both the device and the power outlet. Do not charge for more than 12 hours.
- The battery must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Mishandling the battery may cause fire or explosion. Dispose of or recycle the device, its battery, and accessories according to local regulations.
- Do not disassemble, hit, crush, or burn the battery. Stop using immediately if the battery appears deformed or damaged.
- Do not short circuit the battery, as this may cause overheating, burns, or injury.
- Do not place the battery in high-temperature environments, as overheating may cause explosion.

Safety Precautions
- Observe all applicable laws and rules restricting mobile phone use in specific situations and environments.
- Do not use your phone at petrol stations or in any explosive atmosphere, including fueling areas, below decks on boats, fuel/chemical transfer facilities, or areas where air may contain chemicals or particles like grain, dust, or metal powders. Obey posted signs to turn off wireless devices. Turn off your phone or wireless device in blasting areas or areas requiring "two-way radios" or "electronic devices" to be turned off.
- Do not use your phone in hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, or intensive care units. Always comply with hospital rules and regulations. If you have a medical device (e.g., pacemaker), consult your doctor and the device manufacturer regarding potential interference. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between your phone and a pacemaker, preferably by using the phone on the ear opposite the pacemaker and not carrying it in a breast pocket. To avoid interference with other medical equipment (hearing aids, cochlear implants), do not use your phone near them.
- Observe aircraft safety regulations and turn off your phone on board aircraft when required.
- When driving, use your phone in accordance with relevant traffic laws and regulations.
- To avoid being struck by lightning, do not use your phone outdoors during thunderstorms.
- Do not make calls while charging.
- Do not use your phone in places with high humidity, such as bathrooms, as this may result in electric shock, injury, fire, and charger damage.
Security Statement
Please update your phone's operating system using the built-in software update feature or visit an authorized service outlet. Updating software through other means may damage the device or result in data loss, security issues, and other risks.

RF Exposure Information (SAR)
This device complies with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure (Localized 10-gram SAR for head and trunk, limit: 2.0W/kg) as specified by Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Guidelines, and RED (Directive 2014/53/EU).
During SAR testing, the device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands and placed in positions simulating RF exposure against the head (no separation) and near the body (5 mm separation).
SAR compliance for body operation is based on a separation distance of 5 mm. The device should be carried at least 5 mm away from the body to ensure RF exposure levels are compliant. When carrying the device near the body, use a belt clip or holster without metallic components that maintains at least 5 mm separation. RF exposure compliance with body-worn accessories containing metal has not been tested or certified, and such accessories should be avoided. Any accessory used for body-worn operation must keep the device at least 1.0 cm away from the body.
