Mesh Group Intercom System
Product Details
The EJEAS Q8 features an antenna, phone/power button, intercom button, volume controls, and a USB charging interface/headphone jack.

Product Installation
Follow the numbered steps for installing the EJEAS Q8 on a helmet. This typically involves attaching the main unit and microphone/speaker components securely to the helmet using provided clips and adhesives.

Basic Operation
Power ON/OFF
To Power ON: Long press the
To Power OFF: Long press the
Indicator Lights: Blue light flashes slowly with "Di, Di, Di, Di, Di" for low battery. Indicator light off for "Power Off".
Reset: The device will automatically power off while charging and can be used while charging after powering on.
Low Battery Indication
When the battery is low, the red light flashes twice with a voice prompt "Low Battery". When extremely low, the device powers off automatically.
Charging Indication
The red light is always on when using USB charging. The red light turns off when fully charged.
Battery Inquiry: After connecting via Bluetooth, the phone's Bluetooth icon displays the power level.
Mesh Intercom
Mesh intercom is a multi-hop technology mesh network intercom operating in the 470-488MHz frequency range. It supports up to 6 people with 5 channels. It offers superior transmission distance and anti-interference compared to traditional Bluetooth chain intercoms.
Features: Intercom with up to 6 people, 5 channels. Listen-only mode has no limit to participants.
Microphone Mute
During Mesh Intercom, short press the
VOX Voice Sensitivity
The system enters sleep mode when no speech is detected and activates upon speaking. Users can adjust voice activation sensitivity across 5 levels (default level 3). Level 5 is most sensitive, level 1 is least sensitive. For high-speed riding, use low levels to avoid wind noise activation. For low-speed riding, high levels allow whispering activation.
Adjusting Sensitivity: After turning on Mesh intercom, press and hold
Pairing Steps as Members
- Enter Pairing State: Long press
(approx. 5s) until a prompt and alternating red/green lights are heard/seen. Voice prompt: "Mesh Pairing". - Set Paired Server: Select one device as the server and press
. A beep and alternating red/green lights will appear. Voice prompt: "Bi". - Confirmation: Wait for "Pairing Successful" from all devices. Then, "Channel n, xxx.x megahertz" prompt indicates successful communication setup.
Intercom Reconnection
When powering on, short press the

Pairing Steps as Listeners
- Enter Listening Mode Pairing: Long press
+ (approx. 5s). Voice prompt: "Listen Mesh Pairing". Alternating red/green lights. - Join Paired Server: Take a paired server intercom, enter listening mode pairing, and press and hold
+ (approx. 5s). Voice prompt: "Listen Mesh Pairing". - Confirmation: Short press
. A beep and alternating red/green lights will appear. Voice prompt: "Du".
Wait for "Pairing Successful" from all intercoms, followed by "Channel n, xxx.x MHz", indicating successful network joining and communication.

Two-person Bluetooth Intercom
How To Pair With The Device
- Initiate Pairing: After powering on, long press
+ (approx. 5s) until red and blue lights flash alternately. Voice prompt: "Intercom Pairing". - Discover and Connect: The other intercom enters pairing state. Once discovered, one initiates the connection.
Connection Status: Blue light flashes slowly with "Pairing Successful, Connected".
Pairing with The Old Models

Intercom Disconnection
Press and hold for 1s. Voice prompt: "Intercom Disconnected".
Pairing With Headsets or Other Branded Bluetooth Intercoms Search
Note: Compatibility with all Bluetooth headsets or intercoms is not guaranteed.
- Initiate Pairing: Long press
+ (approx. 5s) until red and blue lights flash alternately. Voice prompt: "Intercom pairing". - Initiate Searching: Click
+ again. Voice prompts "Intercom Searching". Alternating red/blue lights. - Pairing Process: The intercom searches for other devices in pairing state and initiates pairing upon finding one.
Successful Pairing: "Pairing Successful".
Firmware Upgrades
Connect to a computer using a USB data cable. Download and open "EJEAS Upgrade.exe". Click "Upgrade" to start. Note: Use the standard EJEAS data cable for charging and upgrading.
Mobile Phone Pairing
This intercom connects to mobile phones for music, calls, and voice assistants. Up to 2 phones can connect simultaneously.
- Initiate Pairing: After powering on, long press
(approx. 5s) until red and blue lights flash alternately. Voice prompt: "Phone Pairing". - Connect via Bluetooth: Search for the device named "Q8" on your phone via Bluetooth and connect.
Connection Status: Blue light flashes slowly with "Pairing Successful, Connected". The phone's Bluetooth icon displays the current battery level (requires HFP connection).
Bluetooth Reconnection With Mobile Phones
The device automatically reconnects to the last connected phone upon switching on. If no connection, short press

FM Radio
FM On/Off (76~108MHz)
After turning on FM radio, it searches and plays stations. FM can be used during intercom for listening while talking.
- Turn On: Press and hold

Music Share
Share Bluetooth music from your phone to another device. This function cannot be used during Bluetooth intercom or when two phones are connected simultaneously.
- Set Host and Slave: Designate one intercom as the host, connect it to the phone. The other is the slave.
- Enter Music Sharing: Press
+ simultaneously on host and slave to enter music sharing search connection state. Voice prompt: "Music Share".
Connection Status: After successful connection, play music from the host's phone; it will play through the speaker. Voice prompt: "Music Share Connected".

EUC Pairing
- Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold
+ (approx. 5s). Voice prompt: "Remote Control Pairing". Alternating red/blue lights. Pairing exits if not successful within 2 minutes. - Clear Records: Press and hold
+ on the handle for about 5s until red and blue lights appear. - Initiate Pairing: Click any button of the EUC.
Pairing Status: "Pairing Successful" (No successful pairing within 2 minutes, exit the pairing).
EUC Handle Operation
Mesh intercom reconnect/disconnect and mobile phone control are the same as on the machine.

Mobile App
- Download and Install: Download and install the SafeRiding mobile APP.
- Enter Phone Pairing: Press and hold
(approx. 5s) until red and blue lights flash alternately. - Connect via APP: Open the APP, click the Bluetooth icon, select the intercom device, and connect. For iOS, you may need to pair Bluetooth in system settings first.
The APP provides intercom group, music control, FM control, switch off, authenticity check, and other functions.
