Use

Make sure that your hair is completely dry and comb it thoroughly. If your hair is very long or thick, it would make it easier if you use hair clips to separate the hair.

Plug the appliance into a wall outlet. Switch on the appliance by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button. The ionisation generator starts automatically and lights up blue. The temperature button will start flashing. There are two temperature settings. To switch between the different modes, press the temperature control button. Place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface while it heats up. When the button stops flashing and only lights up blue, the tool is ready for use. As a safety precaution, the hot tool will automatically switch off after 30 minutes.

NOTE! The appliance reaches very high temperatures. Make sure that the hot parts of the appliance do not touch the scalp, your face, neck or hands. Do not use the appliance for wigs, hair extensions or artificial hair without having tested the appliance on a small section of hair, as there may be a risk that the hair will melt.

Styling Tips

Straight Hair

Take a section of hair and start close to the root of the hair. Slowly pull the brush through the hair (exactly as you do when you brush your hair) and turn the brush at the same time. If you want to shape the hair outwards, wrap the hair around the brush when you get close to the end area.

If, however, you want to shape the hair inwards, place the brush under the section of hair and pull it from the root area towards the end area while slowly rotating the brush. Hold the brush in position for a few seconds, when you get to the end area to shape the hair inwards.

Curly Hair

Take a section of hair and pull the brush through the hair down towards the end area, wrap the hair around the brush and hold the brush for a few seconds. Carefully remove the brush from the hair and shape the curls with your fingers.

If you want to have softer curls, pull the brush slowly through the hair down towards the end area while rotating the brush.

Volume

To get short and middle-long hair look more voluminous, wrap a small section of hair around the brush and pull the brush in the opposite direction of the natural lie of the hair to lift up the hair roots.

Always let the hair cool before further styling. Finally, add some hair spray to get a long-lasting result.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Unplug the appliance and let the brush cool completely on a heat-resistant surface before cleaning.
  • Make sure that the brush is placed out of the reach of children. The temperature of the brush is very high when in use and consequently, it takes time before it has cooled completely.
  • Never immerse the brush and the cord/the switch in water or any other liquid.
  • Be careful that water does not penetrate into the barrel of the brush!
  • Wipe the handle and the outer parts of the brush with a damp cloth and wipe off with a dry cloth. In case the white barrel gets dirty or discoloured, you can clean it with a damp cloth and a drop of mild detergent. Remove hair sticking to the brush by using a comb or similar, but be careful that nothing gets into the holes of the brush.
  • Do not wind the cord around the brush or handle.
  • Make sure that the brush has cooled completely before you put it away.
  • Store the brush at a dry and safe place out of reach of children after use.

Environmental Protection

Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.
